i love mickey avalon. im from the uk but heard about him ages ago cause ”so rich so pretty” was played on camp freddy radio online.
he totally rocks. he's finally got the chance to do a video which is decent and he does know Paris Hilton socially so i say get her in the video if it means it will help him. there is only so much an artist can do before they do need a bit of commercial success.

My fiance and I saw him in St. Louis a few months ago. Put on a fucking great show with Dirt Nasty and Andre Legacy. They stayed a long time afterwards and talked to everyone. I couldn't wait to watch this. I've been waiting for a couple of months. truly a let down. I should be on my 100th or so viewing by now, instead I'm on my 3rd. last thing, the fact that Mickey wasn't driving the black sedan with TWO CHEAP HOOKERS & a MEXICAN while he sipped on WARM COORS LIGHT is a travesty. one of the biggest blunders/stupid moves of all time. showing him dropping his kid off to school?!?!?!? WTF! I'm a loving father and I don't even want to see that! why would anybody else? I can hear the director in the pitch meeting, "you know, Mickey, personally I think you driving the car with two cheap hookers and a mexican would be too predictable. let's mix it up!"

MISTAKE

in closing, once again, I LOVE MICKEY AVALON. and, MR. RIGHT is literally one of the greatest songs in HISTORY. yes, history. but, the video comes NOWHERE near the standard I have grown accustomed to from the Mickey Avalon camp.

I'm the biggest Mickey Avalon fan in the world. this is FACT, deal with it. "Mr. Right" also happens to be the most played song in my iTUNES. currently, it sits at over 1,700 plays (I've been playing it for at least a year now). anyway, as much as it kills me to say it, this is NOT the amazing video it should be. I don't know who they got to direct this, but they kinda blew it imho. I mean, the song is PERFECTION and the video is BLAH. Mickey's charisma/charm can only carry it so far. had they made the video they SHOULD HAVE made Mickey would break into multi-platinum status instantaneously. but, they did not. MAYBE he'll go gold. maybe. sorry, Mickey! forgive me! and, for the next one, if they give you the chance, fire your director! find somebody with the following things…
