Amy Winehouse is a self-confessed bulimic, in addition to being a genius singer/songwriter and a massive drug addict.
The troubled star may still be torturing her body with the barfing, if we can judge by what she's eating.
The beehived Brit was spotted at a local convenience store in London on Thursday, picking up a meal fit for a junky.
Crisps. Sweets. And everything in between.
Early Thursday morning (late Wednesday night) Amy surprised many by taking to the stage at the Jazz After Dark venue.
Club owner Sam Shaker told the Mirror: “She jumped on to the stage and started singing two new songs. Everyone was open-mouthed in amazement - she was sensational.”
Performing made the star peckish though: “We reopened the kitchen especially for her as she said she was starving and wanted loads of calamari and tuna mayonnaise salad.”
After she’d eaten, she went onto nearby Balans restaurant where she stayed until 5am, with an onlooker reporting she was “in very chatty mood and was roaring with laughter all night.”

Yes, she is screwed up, but she knows the photo ops. I think she loves to be loaded, but she's smart enough to keep her face out there, so she does these pathetic looking things that are mainly theater to get media hype. I'll bet within a year, she's put on weight, has another album, and then she goes intot the same downward spiral to get attention. She'll be around for a long time. She isn't as stupid as she acts.
And has anybody ever considered the possibility that she has a couple of pair of dirty ballet slippers? You can't tramp over the London sidewalks on a daily basis using only one pair of ballet slippers. She might even have more than one copy of her "hideous" belt. Man, for people so into watching the celebs, you sure can be clueless.

It seems like Amy became more popular due to her drinking and drugging. Not a lot of people would know about her if it wasn't for the tabloids. Rehab was a hit, but just like "fuck me pumps" Amy was having fun not trying to impress you or me. I have respect for her talent and her being true to her self in spite of her disease (addiction). She has never tried to be a role model or a fake. I just wish her the best and hope she rehabs.

She's a genius, that's part of the problem, many smart & talented people get depressed because they see how things really are and it's depressing so they either try to do something to make things better or they self medicate to keep from thinking about how terrible this world really is. It kind of depends on your genes, some people are predisposed to being an addict and it doesn't take much to push them in that direction. Being a genius doesn't protect you from what's in your DNA. I feel sorry for her, I pray she gets the help she needs so that she can keep writing and singing more fabulous songs. A musical genius like her comes along only once in a great while. What she is doing in her personal life is going to kill her. This isn't about who she is dating. Remember Karen Carpenter… and drugs weren't part of her lifestyle. Amy is so malnourished that I am sure her potassium & blood sugar levels are dangerously low & she is for sure at risk of having a heart attack. Besides the potential of an overdose, her drug use will also put her at risk for having a heart attack. She needs to read about herself & see how awful she looks so she will get help.
