Milo Ventimiglia set the tween hearts aflutter when he made a surprise visit recently to Thomas Jefferson High School in Bloomington, Minnesota.

He was touring the campus for the planned movie Blades of Glory, based on the book about the school's hockey team.

The Heroes hottie also went to a hockey game and was swarmed by teens half his age.

Oh wow I am so pumped about this movie, it is seriously one of my favorite books. When the Will Ferrell movie came out I was disappointed because people would get them confused. High school hockey in Minnesota is a bit like football in Texas, where it is really huge and kids are bred to win from a very young age. So this movie will be a bit like Friday night lights and Miracle. Hopefully, they will use some local kids One of the main charachters in the book is Tom Gilbert who now plays for the Edmonton Oilers. Unfortunately, the team doesn't even make it to state tournament in the book so I am guessing they will have to change that in the movie.

Making a movie: This should give those frozen ass chumps in Bloomington something to do. Cuz I guarantee you that there ain't shit going on in that suburb. I would know, I was just there for some family stuff. There is still the Perkins on Lyndale but that's it. They even got rid of their Bridgeman's!! A freakin landmark. How could they! Oh, there is still the Toro riding lawn mower shop so you'v got that going for you. This place is nothing to write home about. High school hockey; yeah, that's about right: much like all of suburban Minneapolis, that is all there is to care about. How sad! By the way: Go Richfield Spartans! My high school. Growing up in Richfield, next to Bloomington, you could tell they were a bunch of rich assholes. Looking back, they were actually middle class assholes.
