"Hi Perez,
I can’t believe Lauren Conrad is trying to lead the public to believe all reality shows are staged. Her life must really be boring if the producers have to make so much stuff up. I was on the latest season of The Apprentice (a show about “boring” business people – not even supposed California socialites experiencing the high life) and I can tell you that every single thing on my show was real. No scripts, no re-shoots for “continuity” and certainly no fake characters like you say they introduce on The Hills. Obviously some of the dating shows on tv are bullshitty and a bit put on– but they make it pretty obvious. The Hills is filmed documentary style and presented as “reality.” LC should just suck it up and admit she is a faker. Would anyone really be surprised or upset?
The Apprentice is real. Reality shows are real. It’s just Lauren Conrad’s show that apparently is fake.

My question is who is Jenn Hoffman. Right, no one cares. She's just jealous that Lauren has turned her stint on Laguna Beach and The Hills into a lucrative career. She has a clothing line out, she's a spokesperson for Mark from Avon, and she gets paid by MTV to go clubbing and to Hollywood events and awards show, and she actually has some notoriety. Lauren Conrad appears multiple times in magazines like Teen Vogue, Seventeen, Cosmo Girl, US Weekly, In Touch, OK!, Life & Style, etc… Not to mention appearing on shows like Extra, Access Hollywood, the Tyra Banks Show, GMA, and even The Soup on E! Again, this sounds like a case of jealousy to me. Why else would she have signed it with her "credentials" and with a link to her personal website? The funny thing is that she expects us to believe a show like "The Apprentice" is real. Okay, it's as real as "The Hills."

Taylor Simpson from Amarillo, TX, a small town down home mega wealth Texan….I asked him and he says he has no clue what I am talking about…but she would like him…he is worth over 500 Million and he has dated many Newport/Laguna girls… I am not totally sure its true but it sure makes sense as both of them are looking for eachothers attributes (her fame and his money).
Rumor is that Lauren has been on dates with the big Texas oil heir D. Taylor Simpson. Well said! I agree with everything you wrote. Also "The Apprentice" has slipped so bad in the ratings that they had to revamp it with "C" list celebrities, ohhh can't wait for that.
And as for "The Hills" I love watching it not just for the drama (real or scripted-who cares?),
but also for the great songs they play-songs you might never heard of if not for them, like
Ian Axel's "We Are". Also for the fashion and just the L.A. life. So suck it up Perez, America does not care if "The Hills" is fact or fiction. Me thinks someone is trying to bring that show down, but sorry Perez it ain't a happening. "If" the show is indeed fake let it be. It gets way more ratings then the apprentice and is way more catching.Anybody can say its fake but I bet there the same ones tuning in every monday night to watch what happens.I dont care fsake or not I love the show.

I have worked on at least 5 MTV reality shows and let me tell you the are produced out the ass..everything is set up..they are put into situations and they just have a loose script of what should take place..Most of MTV is like that..that's why I don't work there any more..

The Hills is like Laguna Beach- it's a new genre of television, somewhere in between a staged drama and reality tv. It's filmed with very high quality film -it isn't like they are trying to make it seem as its pure reality. The basic storylines are true- it makes for good tv!

I used to love the hills and didn't miss a episode of it, but once I start seeing all of this and realizing this could be fake it really makes me mad because for all we know Heidi and Lauren could be friends just hiding it really well….OH why don't they just make a show where we know it won't make a difference anyway.
