$15,000 may seem like a lot of money to most people, but not Cooley Lafoon. That's how much Anne Heche's ex-husband gets a month from the star in child support and now he wants more.
$22,604 a month to be exact!
Lafoon, who hasn't worked since 2000, alleges that since the sale of the former couple's home in Los Angeles in September, his cost of living has increased.
In his court filing, Coley, who was married for five years to the TV star, claims that his "lifestyle during the marriage was much higher."
These days, he's slumming it!
Poor Lafoon (and son Homer, 5) have to rough it in a $4200 a month rental, dine on a mere $2,000 of groceries a month, and make do with a measly $1500 a month to spend on clothes. Egads!!
Coley's lawyer has also requested that Heche pay for his client's legal fees.

I do agree that $15,000 per month should be more than enough for anyone to live on comfortably. If he is in fact the primary parent raising their son, of course there should be support, but this guy appears to be in "full greed mode now". But if he wants an income beyond the $15,000 per month then he needs to seek employment.

Anne Heche has worked as a professional actor for more than 20 years. Laffon has never held a job. Crazy, "eccentric" people can't hold jobs. I don't see the relevance of Laffon's grandfather being the governor of Kentucky or that he is from a wealthy and educated family. The only resume that matters is Coley's.
