Did Madonna Get Some "Work" Done???

Madonna is turning 50 years old in about six months and it seems like she may have gone in for a little "refreshment" this week.

There are media reports that the Material Mom had plastic surgery on her eyes this week and the Internets is rife with speculation.

Tongues began wagging when her Madgesty was seen with what looked like two bruises under her eyes, seen visibly and clearly despite dark sunglasses to try and conceal them.

Also, Madonna was seen leaving the Medical Arts Center in New York City.

Did she or didn't she????

We just shot her publicist an email and are waiting to hear back!

Update: "Doubtful," Madonna's long time rep, Liz Rosenberg, tells us of the plastic surgery talk. "I saw her over the weekend and she looked the same to me."

Why is this even a question?

The media (this site included in that) treat plastic surgery with such a SHOCK! HORROR! attitude, when it's obvious that everyone in the emtertainment industry, where image is as important as talent, is doing it.

Is it a coincidence that stars like Madonna who made it big in their 20's still look great today? Compare them to other 50 year olds you know. There's a big difference in looks.

And what's the difference? Disposable income. If you could afford "work" and saw it as beneficial to your job - or just for yor self image - wouldn't you?

From what I've read of this woman, she leads a fairly healthy lifestyle to maintain the fitness of her body and looks. Yet does this mean she would eschew the option of a surgical treatment to help that along? I don't think so.

This ain't news… or even worthwhile gossip any more. It's not the first time she's done it, and she's not alone. It's commonplace today.
