The Grey's Anatomy actress, with the filthy habit she's been photographed feeding publicly countless times, spent the day with her fiancee, musician Josh Kelley.
The pair are getting married December 23rd in Utah. T.R. Knight will be a bridesmaid.

Smoking is disgusting. It does disgusting things to you and anything around you. But, if it were just disgusting, why would people do it? Nicotine is the most additive drug out there, its harder to kick that heroin. I have been smoking for almost 8 years now, and every day, I wish I didn't. I have tried to quit three times, and usually lasted for about 3 months. It's not easy. It doesn't help when everyone nags you about it, or says things like you have said Perez. If anything is just makes me want to have a cigarette. Kicking the habit is a personal thing and can only be done when the person wants to do it. Please have some compassion.

I have first hand info about smoking and Cancer. My husband was diagnosed in January of this year. We have triplet 4-year-old boys. My husband quit the day we got the biopsy results, but he still went through major surgery, radiaition and chemotherapy, and he recently had an abnormal PET scan. We do not know if it has come back yet, another surgery is scheduled for January. The definitive cause of squamous cell carcinoma on floor of mouth - head and neck of the oral cavity - smoking. He had a tumor removed from under his tongue and 40 lymph nodes removed. He ate through an artery for many months and went from a strapping 175 pounds to a gaunt 130 pounds. It was hell for him and our family. Smoking causes cancer and that is the bottom line.
