Amy Winehouse was arrested in London on Tuesday, PerezHilton.com can exclusively reveal.

The Back To Black singer was taken into custody at the Shoreditch Police Station in Hackney just after 5pm GMT.

Wino is being implicated in the bribery plot for which her 25-year-old husband, Blake, has been jailed since November.

A police spokesperson confirmed: "A 24-year old woman has been arrested by appointment at an east London police station. She is currently in custody. The arrest was in connection with an investigation into perverting the course of justice."

Hey, at least she wasn't arrested for drugs.

Either way, Amy's still a hot mess.

She wants to wrestle the title away of Biggest Trainwreck of '07 from Britney!

I love Amy, but I am glad she is in jail. Hopefully she won't be able to get to any more drugs and will be able to detox.

I watched the video for Love is a Losing Game the other day and all I could think was that it looked like one of those montages they make after someone dies. I fully expected to see birth and death dates flashed at the very end. It makes me sad. And that is what is going to happen if she doesn't get help. Hopefully this is her rock bottom and she can start to climb out.
