Amy Winehouse was arrested in London on Tuesday, PerezHilton.com can exclusively reveal.
The Back To Black singer was taken into custody at the Shoreditch Police Station in Hackney just after 5pm GMT.
Wino is being implicated in the bribery plot for which her 25-year-old husband, Blake, has been jailed since November.
A police spokesperson confirmed: "A 24-year old woman has been arrested by appointment at an east London police station. She is currently in custody. The arrest was in connection with an investigation into perverting the course of justice."
Hey, at least she wasn't arrested for drugs.
Either way, Amy's still a hot mess.

It seems that the more attention you give them, the more they fuck up. does that not tell you a single thing? sure, amy's a 'hot mess', but more than that, she is a talented individual who will never get the recognition she deserves because of, yes, the decisions she makes, but also what attention she gets, which is never, ever positive. She's a spoiled little brat. She's used to acting like a little diva and went to stage school where it was encouraged. While I feel sorry for her parents, it's pretty much their fault for letting her turn out like this.
God bless this poor girl. Being a recovering addict, I know how hard it is to struggle with drug addicition but DAMN! Hopefully a trip to the slammer will give her a clear head and help her get her life in order. It's so sad that she continues to risk her life and career for this guy when they both obviously need to focus on their own lives and recoveries before they even think about being in a relationship of any kind. My thoughts, prayers and positive vibes are with Amy, hopefully this will be the wake up she desperately needs before it's too late!

One more thing, I think it's awesome how many positive and supportive comments that have been submitted, it's refreshing to see that through all the negativity associated with these gossip blogs that people can still be sympathetic to drug and alcohol addiction. Love and support is vital to a person successfully getting and, more importantly, staying sober so kudos to everyone that's being that way. As to all of you that are being hateful and negative, shame on you, I hope to God that none of you ever become addicted or have someone you love end up that way. It's a terrible disease and is not funny in any way, shape or form.

From what I hear-it`s par for the course to be arrested when you come in (voluntarily-which she did) for questioning in the U.K. She was not locked up and is now free. The system there is a bit different than here. Any Brits on here want to give us more details?
