      Bless her heart. She's so young to have lost her mother. I was 23 and it has altered every aspect of my life since so I can't imagine how hard it will be for her. On the bright side though, at least her mom got to see her little girl fulfill her dream and achieve a pretty decent level of fame. Regardless of how obnoxious that song was it did put her on the map. I wonder what happened, I doubt her mom was that old. Very sad. On a different not, seriously, do you have to put "FIRST!!!" on a post like this? Jesus, have a little respect! It's infantile and ridiculous period but there's just some times that it's totally uncalled for, this being one of them.

      I just want to say that Lil' Mama appears to be a mature girl with values that she hasn't compromised in her videos. She hasn't hooched it up or used obscene language in videos or interviews (that I have seen) not only because she knows there are young girls who will look up to her, but she knows that a successful recording shouldn't rely on adding street slang or degrading others to make it popular. She is also just a teenager who has lost her mother. I actually met her and her mom at a cancer treatment center. My daughter who is undergoing treatment recognized her and whispered that it was her. I had heard of the song "lipgloss" but was unfamiliar with her. I went over to her and quietly asked if she was Lil' Mama and she said yes. She was compassionate enough to take a picture with my daughter and ask her name, even though her own mother was obviously loosing her own battle. I observed a very loving supportive daughter who embraced her mother as they sat waiting for treatment. I just had to expose the human side of her after seeing all of the hate filled comments. Lil' Mama I'm praying for you to stay strong and carry on and keep making your mama proud.
