Britney’s kids to be tested for drugs
Kevin Federline has long complained that ex Britney Spears has their kids hooked on sugar and fast food. But now Britney’s accusing Kevin of exposing their children to something far more dangerous: marijuana.
“Britney believes Kevin’s been smoking pot in front of the kids,” says a friend of hers. “She says she can smell it in the boys’ hair and on their clothes when she has her visitation with them.”
Britney’s so upset, she’s determined to have Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, drug-tested to confirm her suspicions. “She’s asked the court-appointed monitor and her lawyers if they can prove the kids have been exposed to environments in which drugs have been taken,” an insider says. They told her she should snip off a few strands of their hair right after they’ve returned from Kevin’s place and have them analyzed in a lab.
Indeed, “testing for secondhand marijuana use can be done using a lock of hair,” confirms addiction expert Marty Brenner. “The test must be done within a day or two after exposure. Secondhand smoke would definitely show up, and results usually come back in a couple of days.”
Since Brit, 26, submits to regular court-ordered drug tests herself, her legal team intends to call an emergency hearing if Sean and Jayden test positive for pot. “Kevin could lose custody,” says the insider.

You know how many social workers let the children slip though the cracks. Maybe state should get off the high horse and make Kevin go though certain programs and testing too. One drug is OK and not other drugs. Come on people. No wonder children are having sex early. Maybe instead of letting people playing the system. Kevin leaves these children with a nanny and drinks more than once in while. Kevin slow down once Brittney tried to nail him going out. Claiming how many times he went out and drinking leaving the club. After Kevin pointed out her bad actions and poor judgment. We see the Britney all the time but Kevin stop going out. Once he knew it could hurt him. Brittney is a sad case because she don't get it. If I smell pot on a child. Even if the state didn't know because the person never got busted by the police. Should still be tested if someone is claiming something that could in danger these children. It's just like a form of child abuse. Perez had Shar on tape on you tube about Kevin taking the marijuana and yes I think it was sugar coated. Besides that the state should be aware what could be going on behind close door! The state should got the hair right there and put it in a zip lock bag. Than set up a day with the lab and inform the court. Before anyone could protest it and still give the person not enough time to do the drug around the children.
A lot of rumors but right now the court papers. It never stated if Keven wanted to to be tested it ether way. Plus the paper work was not open to the public. I guess it went public not that long ago. Something about their privet life and keeping out the public view because they wanted a normal court hearing. That what I herd and I don't know much but what I read.

I meant if Kevin is aware what is going on and the drug only will show up on so many days. This give Kevin a heads up. To test the drug before leaving the system and be wash away? This statement was about the state and For other comments that think it is OK For someone to do one drug and not the other drugs. In front of their children is not a good example. The social worker didn't say it was OK and that part wasn't toward her.

I wish that social services would come and just put those kids up for adoption or something. I think it's horrible that they have to be juggled between two such unfit parents. It's painful to watch these kids have their lives ruined already by their irresponsible parents. I hope that some people can realize what a horrible situation they are in and try to stop it instead of just watching because it is, "entertaining."

There would be no way to prove where the exposure took place or by who (nanny's, bodyguards, Britneys greasy boyfriends, etc) PLUS it would take more than just the possible exposure to pot, about 1000x's more. Neglect, abuse, putting them at risk, showing signs of mental illness, etc etc , (and we know who THAT is)
They don't yank kids from a fairly competent parent and toss 'em in foster care just because they may or may not have been exposed indirectly to pot while in his custody
Kids DIE from abuse at the hands of parents who have been investigated for monthes or years by Social Services, but had no action taken. Do A LITTLE RESEARCH!
Re: Jake – uhhh…..Jake……..the court monitor is not ALWAYS with Britney. Only the 5 hours a week or so Britney has her monitored visitation. That leaves her 6 3/4 days to go do anything she wants, like drugs, endless, bad, driving, picking up greasy men, checking in and out of hotels, etc
I doubt there is anyone in this country they could possibly pay enough to "monitor" Unfitney 24/7 and report on it
