Kevin Federline found out that Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant before even Britney did!
Brit Brit was not told of the big news before it was made public, splashed on the cover of the new OK! magazine.
However, K-Fed was warned in advance, and that's due to his close relationship with Lynne Spears, Jamie Lynn and the entire Spears family.
While Britney has been estranged from her mother and father, Kevin has not. In fact, he's been the only outlet for them to see their grandchildren.
"Kevin knew before Britney that Jamie Lynn is pregnant," a Federline family insider tells the NY Post. "In fact, Britney's mom Lynne, told Kevin about it on Monday, [December 17], because Lynne wanted Kevin to be prepared."
The insider adds, "We're waiting for the fallout from Britney. Kevin is sure Britney will flip out and blame her mom and dad."
Britney's not gonna get mad. She's gonna get even!

This morning I breathe a sigh of relief. After learning last night that little 16 year old Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant, I woke up knowing that one thing is certain. Sadly, it all started I think when Britney just wanted to be a singer and famous. I don't think she really cared how… she just wanted to be a star. Following on the Madonna "entertainer" model (rather than for being known primarily for her vocals) she fell prey to record companies (and others - sadly it looks like even her own family members) and what they knew would sell records… it's simple, SEX. And what did it leave her? No real satisfaction because all she ended up doing was seeking attention from people rather than her own satisfaction of say singing and making songs because she loved that first (and the attention and money second). I agree she made everyone more concerned about sex as a way to appeal to people. Now, it's really no big deal to be pregnant and fucking around at 16. Everyone does right? It's sad because most boys and girls that age could deal with just heavy petting honestly and now a lot more people are just in casual relationships that they would never stick out and they're having children. It's not a game - there are repercussions with children!!! Britney played a dangerous game — and it looks like she lost. Jamie Lynn is dangerously following the same path. For whatever opinion you have about Britney, her life is complete chaos right now and it is great that they have some stability. It's he is in contact with Britney's family. At least the kids are seeing their grandparents - which is good - and it will hopefully build a bridge back and forth between K-Fed/Britney/Kids/Brit's family — in the end for the children a stable balance between all is the best for them.
