In case you're just waking up….

Britney's sixteen year old sister, Nickelodeon TV star Jamie Lynn Spears, is pregnant, and she reveals it in an exclu$ive OK! magazine cover story.

Now, the first repercussion of the shocking news is being felt.

Mom Lynne Spears's planned book on parenting is being delayed.

"The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not cancelled," says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes Christian books. "We are standing behind Lynn at this time and understand that she needs time with her family – we support that."

Lynne's book had been scheduled for a spring 2008 release.

Damn, the book should be cancelled.

Lynne Spears obviously doesn't know shit about raising kids!!!

I think it would be easy to quickly jump and condemn her actions, however, it took more courage to decide to have the child than to take the easy way out. While, it is sad and she shouldn't be a role model because of her behavior, she should be admired for taking the tough road. I imagine there will be a day when her child grows up and thanks her for not aborting him/her. I think we should rally around her and support her for that reason alone and allow her pregnancy to bring caution to all the other teens who are sexually active.
