One Step Closer To The Oscar

Filed under: Angelina Jolie > Film Flickers

wenn5052981.jpg

Miz Angelina Jolie-Pitt got a Screen Actors Guild nomination on Thursday for her role in the Bradley Pitt-produced biopic A Mighty Heart.

The mother and humanitarian got a nod in the Best Actress category, a recognition she also got at the Golden Globes.

Unlike the Globes, though, the SAG awards have received a waiver from the Writers Guild and there will be no picket outside the ceremony.

I have to say, I am not a fan of hers, and for that reason I did not see A Mighty Heart in the theatre. However, I did rent the movie and was blown-away by her performance. The story is intense, and even though you know the outcome, they manage to create a dramatic sense of suspense. She was phenomenal.

WHO CARES??!!!? Am I the only person who thinks this woman is down right UGLY. SHe is disgusting and a disgrace to women. Her humanitarian work is out of guilt for her past actions such as , her lesbian days, her gothic old ways, making out with her own brother, Wearing viles of blood around her neck and all that other weird shit she used to do. Oh and not to mention when she slept with another womans husband……guilt, guilt, guilt!!! She isnt beautiful in ANY way and she is an over paid actress. Ugggghhhh she gets on my damn nerves, she needs to just go away already. TEAM JENN ALL THE WAY!!

  31. Erin says – reply to this
    31

You mean Angelina Jolie, she is not married to Brad, there is no "Pitt" in her name.

You should really go with "Part time mom with several nannies, part time humanitarian when she wants to adopt a child from the country, and full time husband thief, Angelina Jolie" As her description. It's a bit more catchy.

for Angelina to win the SAG, the Golden Globe, & the Oscar!!!!
Please Santa, she has been a good girl…..

both Brad and Angelina suck!!!!!!!!!! I cant understand you groveling over them. I still wuv ya anyways though, Perex

  34. Uh yeah says – reply to this
    34

Maybe one step closer to a nomination but not a win. Right now, Julie Christie and Ellen Page have such amazing buzz. No one saw A Mighty Heart and, as much as people love reading about the exploits of the ever so fabulous Brangelina and their band of wandering children, most folks don't go to see them in movies. Not all press is good press.

  35. Publicity whores says – reply to this
    35

Can Perez kiss her ass any more? She is a shitty actress and she won't win. When will we see the day when we don't have to hear anymore about these assholes?

  36. Knock it Off says – reply to this
    36

Ok, his name is really William Bradley Pitt and hers is Angelina Jolie Voight. They are not married, so quit adding his name to hers. And while you're at it, quit talking about these two as if they're some kind of royalty. But since you seem to be obsessed with using British words and spelling, I guess it makes sense. They're two very rich people who have hired help attending to their - and their kids' every need. He speaks like he barely finished 6th grade. So sick of them already - who gives a shit?

  37. zach says – reply to this
    37

She was great, but she's lucky she was even nominated. She doesn't have a chance in Hell of winning. She will get nominated for the Oscar, but she has the least likely chance of winning. Or second to the least. It's going to be between Julie Christie, Marion Cotillard, or Ellen Page. The nomination for Angie is her win.

I'm glad Angelina got a nomination for playing a balck woman. Thank God, because there are no black actors in Hollywood who could do the part. Thanks Again Angelina for helping out the black race!!!

BTW fellow "Haters" - there is one particular slobbering "fan" usually posting as "jenfraud" who likes to use who multiple personalities to post endless drivel under several names. She really needs to get a life, and prescription anti-skiz meds.
