Miz Angelina Jolie-Pitt got a Screen Actors Guild nomination on Thursday for her role in the Bradley Pitt-produced biopic A Mighty Heart.
The mother and humanitarian got a nod in the Best Actress category, a recognition she also got at the Golden Globes.
Unlike the Globes, though, the SAG awards have received a waiver from the Writers Guild and there will be no picket outside the ceremony.

I have to say, I am not a fan of hers, and for that reason I did not see A Mighty Heart in the theatre. However, I did rent the movie and was blown-away by her performance. The story is intense, and even though you know the outcome, they manage to create a dramatic sense of suspense. She was phenomenal.

Maybe one step closer to a nomination but not a win. Right now, Julie Christie and Ellen Page have such amazing buzz. No one saw A Mighty Heart and, as much as people love reading about the exploits of the ever so fabulous Brangelina and their band of wandering children, most folks don't go to see them in movies. Not all press is good press.
