One Step Closer To The Oscar

Miz Angelina Jolie-Pitt got a Screen Actors Guild nomination on Thursday for her role in the Bradley Pitt-produced biopic A Mighty Heart.

The mother and humanitarian got a nod in the Best Actress category, a recognition she also got at the Golden Globes.

Unlike the Globes, though, the SAG awards have received a waiver from the Writers Guild and there will be no picket outside the ceremony.

I have to say, I am not a fan of hers, and for that reason I did not see A Mighty Heart in the theatre. However, I did rent the movie and was blown-away by her performance. The story is intense, and even though you know the outcome, they manage to create a dramatic sense of suspense. She was phenomenal.

WHO CARES??!!!? Am I the only person who thinks this woman is down right UGLY. SHe is disgusting and a disgrace to women. Her humanitarian work is out of guilt for her past actions such as , her lesbian days, her gothic old ways, making out with her own brother, Wearing viles of blood around her neck and all that other weird shit she used to do. Oh and not to mention when she slept with another womans husband……guilt, guilt, guilt!!! She isnt beautiful in ANY way and she is an over paid actress. Ugggghhhh she gets on my damn nerves, she needs to just go away already. TEAM JENN ALL THE WAY!!

I'm sorry…it's driving me bonkers - I think a better title for this would be "One Step Closer to ANOTHER Oscar…"

Will somebody PLEASE swipe that dead cat of a hat off of Brad's melon??? We KNOW you're bald, buddy! And we don't care. But we DO care when you insist on looking stooooopid!!!

    31. Erin says – reply to this

      31

You mean Angelina Jolie, she is not married to Brad, there is no "Pitt" in her name.

You should really go with "Part time mom with several nannies, part time humanitarian when she wants to adopt a child from the country, and full time husband thief, Angelina Jolie" As her description. It's a bit more catchy.

    32. Michelle Depp says – reply to this

      32

All I want for Christmas is…..
for Angelina to win the SAG, the Golden Globe, & the Oscar!!!!
Please Santa, she has been a good girl…..

    33. GertieS says – reply to this

      33

both Brad and Angelina suck!!!!!!!!!! I cant understand you groveling over them. I still wuv ya anyways though, Perex

    34. Uh yeah says – reply to this

      34

Maybe one step closer to a nomination but not a win. Right now, Julie Christie and Ellen Page have such amazing buzz. No one saw A Mighty Heart and, as much as people love reading about the exploits of the ever so fabulous Brangelina and their band of wandering children, most folks don't go to see them in movies. Not all press is good press.

    35. Publicity whores says – reply to this

      35

Can Perez kiss her ass any more? She is a shitty actress and she won't win. When will we see the day when we don't have to hear anymore about these assholes?

    36. Knock it Off says – reply to this

      36

Ok, his name is really William Bradley Pitt and hers is Angelina Jolie Voight. They are not married, so quit adding his name to hers. And while you're at it, quit talking about these two as if they're some kind of royalty. But since you seem to be obsessed with using British words and spelling, I guess it makes sense. They're two very rich people who have hired help attending to their - and their kids' every need. He speaks like he barely finished 6th grade. So sick of them already - who gives a shit?

    37. zach says – reply to this

      37

She was great, but she's lucky she was even nominated. She doesn't have a chance in Hell of winning. She will get nominated for the Oscar, but she has the least likely chance of winning. Or second to the least. It's going to be between Julie Christie, Marion Cotillard, or Ellen Page. The nomination for Angie is her win.

    38. chris says – reply to this

      38

I'm glad Angelina got a nomination for playing a balck woman. Thank God, because there are no black actors in Hollywood who could do the part. Thanks Again Angelina for helping out the black race!!!

All the nominations in the world don't make her any less of a whore.

Re: k.c. – no, you're not the only one by a long shot. i find her disgusting on so many levels that i don't even have the time to type them all out. just know that you aren't alone. unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) we "haters" aren't as psychotic and rabid as the "fans" so we don't put as much energy into our posts…..if we bother to post at all.

    42. lola says – reply to this

      42

      45

This baby buying man stealing anorexic ho won't win because she can't act. For all your morons reminding us for the one-millioneth time - she won an Oscar yes, but for portraying her day to day self. A drug addicted, selfish whore. woot woot
BTW fellow "Haters" - there is one particular slobbering "fan" usually posting as "jenfraud" who likes to use who multiple personalities to post endless drivel under several names. She really needs to get a life, and prescription anti-skiz meds.

I really can't see what people see in her (or him, for that matter). Sure, she's picked up a few kids. She has help, for Pete's sake. She can't act, except her biggest role has been as an ego-masseuse for the overly-full-of-himself Brad. It's not a case of jealousy or even being pro-Jennifer Aniston. It's a case of seeing what's real and what's illusion. She's nothing but illusion that people are buying into. Her bubble will burst someday too, and she'll just be a skinny, tattooed old hag with big lips. Then we'll see how her public adores her.

Congrats, Angie! She just saw AMH for the second time, and Angie did unbelievable job. Julie's movie was watched by noone, Marion is foreign, Angie should win. If jealous hag actresses actually voted honestly, then Angie should definitely win.

You hags, how do you come to website hosted by a gay person and bash Angie for having had female lovers! Also, I am sick and tired of folks writing supposed horrible things Angie had done in her teens and early 20's. Folks it's been more than 6 years since Angie became a mom and a humanitarian. Give it up, already! Furthermore, Angie is only few years older than Britney.

Finally, what has Jen done with her life that she is so admirable? Getting a divorce? Was she left penniless with children to feed? Why can't you hags move on! Did Brad dump you?????

Sure it was 6 years or whatever she has been a psuedo saint, but her past history will haunt her forever.
Those little kiddies of hers will one day too know what mommy dearest's past was - and by then it will be 26 years - so what?
When you are a "celebrity", your skeletons will forever remain in the public eye.
Will it overshadow the good she has done? More than likely because sucking off her brother tends to stay in the mind's eye more so than any so-called publicity seeking good she has done.
Dumped by Brad? Fug hat wearing old dudes aren't my thing, but thanks for asking. Biotch.

Sorry to burst your bubble, Perez, but there's no way Angelina will win the Oscar. The ones who have been taking all the prizes so far are Julie Christie, Marion Cotillard and Ellen Page. Either Julie or Marion will win, not Angelina, despite your wishful thinking.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA to all of you Brangelina haters.

      UP YOURS!!!

She was nominated and by her peers. How u like that?

Whatever u say, she still has an OSCAR at home and whether u like or not, keeps on getting recognized for her acting (bad, good or whatever) LMAO!!!She does FAR better than all of u whiners and haters

So many of you u r sick and tired of Perez kissing ASS to Brangelina??? Well, got news 4 u, perhaps Perez kisses Brangies butt just to spite u all cuz some maybe he's tired -as many of us are- of the pitty party about the whole husband alleged stealing (Booo-woooo!!!) . Get it in your thick skulls (but I don't think most of u haters can cuz ur hate is so deep): NOBODY can't take a man away from a woman that he is in love with. If u can't, u gotta move on and let it go. Even Maniston has….so get over it.

And as far as Brad is concerned, Angie will leave Brad when she wants to…when she is good and ready. Nothing wrong w/that…. Men do it all the time, why can't women do it too?
