    Ya' know, just about 3/4 of Hollywood got nominated for something. The SAG awards is a wankfest. Yeah, Angelina will probably be nominated for an Oscar, too - anybody who does an "important" movie usually does. If you throw in an accent or portray a handicap, your awards' cache goes up even more. It's all a formula and it means nothing. The movie had its moments but honestly, Jolie's fake bake was pretty distracting and the accent sucked. If she wins over Julie Christie, then there truly is no justice in this world.

    I think everyone was a little bit in love with Brad and Jen as a cute couple; and they all got their hearts a little bit broken when it ended, just as there are genuine fans of the new couple. It's not a reason to argue just because people felt affection for Brad & Jen, and now some for Brad and Ange. It's public affection both ways, and so that's not really a good reason to argue as it kind of defeats the purpose. How can you purport to a little distant loyalty to a celeb pairing, but skewer the same objects of your appreciation when they have to live their lives so they work, or as they see fit? It's not quite rational, IMHO. We all must accept change, and try to do it with grace, even if some do a little kicking and screaming while it happens. It doesn't help either party to move on and find a little happiness. I enjoy all of their work, and that's the thing they intend to put forth to the public. Seasons Greetings to all.

    I know this is unrelated to the topic but has anyone seen the interview with Brad Pitt & Ann Curry? There's a part where Ann asks what the family will be doing while spending christmas in New Orleans…. Brad replies that he'll be dodging the papz since she just announced his plans on the air ! I find it funny that his big mouth media seeking girlfriend announced those same plans when she was at the NO conference 2 weeks ago. Nothing could probably rip her heart out more than seeing her soon to be ex husband in a 60 page spread in W magazine with the women who drove a wedge deeper into their marriage and then seeing him playing daddy to her son on a beach in Africa a month after she filed for divorce. Yeah - pretty sure nothing else compares to that knife in the back. Jen is fine. Rest assure she has moved on. Jolie may win this but she'll lose in other ways (in what really matters to her ).

    This is a joke. Anyone who has seen A MIghty Heart can not possibly be convinced Angelina deserves an award for such an unconvincing performance! While I was watching the movie alls I could think about was how much more authentic it would be if Mariane was played by a true woman of color with an accent that actually sounded real.

I've always thought that her Oscar award for the Girl Interrupted was also disputable, because the skank didn't have to act in that movie, she just portrayed her true psycho self.

    I hear she is about to do yet another movie where she's looking all mean and shooting 'em up. A really good place to start if you want to be a good role model for your kids ( and the rest of the kids in this world ) is to stop doing movies where you using guns and killing people. Yes be a humanitarian and start with the most basic rule. Be the change you want to see. I'm not buying this girl. Sorry.

    I'm sick of Saint Angelina and Brad. She is not a REAL mother and the way you promote her is ridiculous. Mothers spend time with their children, they take care of their needs, big and small. She is about getting the next big photo op. It's obvious to most that Angelina will self destruct in the next year or so, with or without Brad. You Perez, should be ashamed of the way you adore her, she must pay you off some way, maybe with a wink at one of the press ops.

    Let me begin by saying that I am not a member of "Team Aniston'. I hated "Friends" and thought her finest moment was in "Office Space". In fact, I used to be a HUGE Angelina fan- back when she did "Foxfire", "Hackers", and "Girl Interrupted". I didn't particularily care if she wore blood around her neck or made out with her brother. I thought she was interesting, and that made her something more than a celebrity. Ever since she got with Brad and adopted her kids, however, I've seen her morph into the typical Hollywood actress. What happened to the Angelina who didn't give a fuck what anybody thought, who proclaimed she would never consider plastic surgery because she thought it was fascinating to see "life" written in lines on people's bodies? I much prefer that Angie to this one. Oh, and as for "A Mighty Heart", I didn't see it, but only because I read several reviews and they all told me not to bother. I also find it extremely stupid that they gave the role to a white actress when there are plenty of talented African-american actresses who could have played the role just as well sans the grease-paint. And that, in a nutshell, is why I think more people didn't see the movie.
