French President Nicolas Sarkozy took his new girlfriend, model/singer Carla Bruni, for a romantical Christmas getaway to Egypt.
The pair arrived in Luxor on Tuesday, via private jet.
According to French media, Sarkozy borrowed the private plane from French billionaire Vincent Bollore for the trip.
Sarkozy's spokeswhore declined to comment on his trip to Egypt, saying it is a personal affair.
Walking hand in hand in public is very personal!
