I found this chick on Myspace, almost a year ago…. Hope's music was great, and I liked it alot…HOWEVER… when I paid $13.00 to get the CD, it never came, and I never got a refund. I sent numerous emails and left comments. I got nothing, Hope got $13 of my money…

im sooo happy youre talking about her! ive been a huge fan of Hope's for over a year now and its good to see shes finally getting some well deserved recognition. i was soo happy to hear her played in the "why did i get married" film.

Has a nice innocence but that is partially due to the insecure lyrics"who am I to say if you love me?" I wouldn't pick this for a wedding. Eva Cassidy is pretty amazing and deserves more credit then a comparison to this girl. Nice emotion but not Eva Cassidy by a long shot. Sorry!

Perez, thanks for mentioning HOPE. I guess that some people did not understand your comparison to Eva but I did. I love Eva's music but I love Hope even more. Hope has been around for a long time but she is now signed to atlantic Records & the CD will be out in 2008. Hope is so much more that just a singer….she is an incredible writer, musician & producer. Although she works with Producers she also has a lot of input her self. Her music is also in Ty;er Perry's movie, PS I Love You (now in theaters) & in the upcoming STEP UP II. She is an amazing performer & over-all human being. You mentioned her soing being good for a wedding….she performed at my friend Tana's wedding on 7/7/07 & blew everyone way. CHECK OUT HER MYSPACE. She is TRUE, HONEST, REAL TALENT….THANKS PEREZ

She has some beautiful songs and a haunting voice…I first noticed a couple years ago when her song "The Rain Don't Last" was used for the Red Cross commercial after Katrina and looked all over the internet for it. Check it out..it's beautiful.
