      yay John Krasinski! I didn't like them together on screen obviously (as most die hard Office fans love Jim and Pam), but it would be cool if he and Rashida were dating in real life. she's way better than Renee Zelwegger.

      I wonder what daddy, Quincy Jones, thinks about his daughter dating another actor. Further, I also wonder why a graduate of Harvard University (Rashida) accepted a role on a TV series that effectively cut her out of the cast this season. I hope The Office brings back "Karen" and offers her a real challenge. She is a terrific actress who deserves a shot at a leading role.

      As far as her relationship with John, I say love often and live free.

      I think they were together the entire time. They stated when they first dated before season 3 even started airing that they were better off "friends" but I think it was bad press

      Who really thinks Rashida is a good actress anyway? I think her acting is subpar. I've even dug up an old episode of Freaks & Geeks to see how she did on that kind of acting - and she sucked

      She also isn't really attractive. I like her eyes but overall shes very plain. Even Jenna, who is humble and sweet is wayyy hotter than Miss Scarpelli.

      They were seen "rekindling" at the Shrek 3 premiere over the summer. I am almost positive that they've been dating the whole time and it's all just a cover up so that John can be marketed as single. (Perez you should try to find this out.) But I am a sucker for it and I still love him.
      And also probably because it wouldn't look as good since he got her the job as Karen.

      First, nolalove (#17) is clearly crazed because i've never seen someone hate on such a critically acclaimed show without watching it. He probably spends his time watching "still standing" or reruns of "according to jim." The Office (and My name is early) is a great show and anyone who uses even a minute portion of their brain can appreciate that. I'm sorry, we don't all watch calculated and pre-packaged, predictable sitcoms. So why don't you go jack off to your 8×11 of Jim Belushi and wallow in your sad, pitiful, humorless life.

      #10, me too- can't help but think that Jenna and John would have chemistry off screen, too (but yes, it is the unrealistic JAM fan in me!)

      #17 The Office is still very popular- how many shows do you know of on TV who have a weekend festival?

      #28, it was her choice to leave. She got a pilot (I have no idea what happened with that) and the show worked with her.

      John is a very educated, charming and nice person- not to mention that he went to Brown and graduated with honors in play writing. I bet Quincy Jones loves him.

      identifying with black culture and dating a white guy aren't mutually exclusive. are you dissing halle berry, or dave chappelle, or any other biracial/black person who's with someone white? i'm biracial and it bugs when people make that argument. it's cool if she and john fell in love b/c of who they are, not b/c their ancestors had common experiences or the same skin colors. personally i think we should be encouraging interracial relationships in this day and age. those old prejudices belong in the past.       I put Rashida is in the Paris/ Nicole category… she's had everything handed to her on a golden platter… I'm indifferent about her acting, nothing special. John is funny on the Office but License to Wed was miserable! Overall — awkward couple.
