We've been trying to steer clear of Adrianne Curry, but she's dogging Tyra again and calling Top Model a fraud. So it's kinda juicy.

The first season winner of Top Model just wrote the following on her blog:

That's what everyone has been asking me lately because of the last season. I didn't watch it, but I came across the finale and watched it the other week. I guess the winner of the show not only has modeled before (Wendy's commercials, Tyra Banks Show runway model) but that she also had a personal relationship with Tyra from being in her T-zone camp. According to my contract with Top Model, all of these things would keep you from even coming on the show, let alone win it.

I agree with the majority in saying that this is not fair. When I did watch the show, I didn't think that they chose the girl who could actually model…but then I remembered that they are 9 seasons into this show and have yet to be successful in making a real "Top Model". I would have picked the other girl based only on that I think she would work more. It's Tyra's show, and she can obviously do whatever she wants.

I love to compete. If I had been one of the other contestants, I would be crying foul everywhere I went. I am really surprised at how unfair that season seems. So I guess now real models are going to be allowed on the show? That should make things interesting.

I think that if all these rumors of the winner being tied in the industry and having a prior relationship with Tyra is true, that the title should be given to the runner up. I know Tyra is an honest person. I have been assured by many that Tyra isn't unfair. Seeing how she isn't, I know she will do the right thing in this situation. Heck, maybe after she is done righting this wrong, she could hint at the agency she placed me in to PAY me for the work I did and won through her show? Been trying to get that check since 2003. ; )"

This season did suck hard. Mushroom head should not have won. Go to the web page and check out the top three's photo's for the series. Mushroom head was not the top model just "cute". Hence they should call the show what it really is, The hunt for the next Cover Girl. This show has nothing to do with being a top model.

Chantal was totally robbed. Tyra always talked about who is more high fashion being as thats what a Top Model would do. Chantal obviously had the more high fashion look, and she could do commercial. Saleisha was straight up commercial. Chantal did better overall throughout the entire competition. Her covergirl picture was far better than Saleishas, who had the worse one of the three. She never should have been in the final two, it should have been Chantal and Jenah. Still Chantal should get the title. She deserved it. Tyra let me down.

I actually feel sorry for the girls who go on this show. I'm sure they all have dreams of being able to get their foot in the door once the cameras are gone, but in reality it just doesn't happen that way. My advice is to take those 15 minutes of fame and try to work it any which way you can because really, that's all you're going to get.

I don't think there is anything wrong with what Adrianne says in her blog about the show. In fact, it almost seems like she is holding back a little.
She may be Z-list, but she WAS on the show, so she is entitled to her opinion.
Besides, Adrianne is the only one from ANY of the seasons that seems to have gone out there and made something of herself.

The recent season's winner was in commercials, on Ugly Betty (no talking extra in an elevator scene), and not only knows Tyra, she modeled on the Tyra Banks Show featuring designers. There is footage of all of this on YouTube. That girl also looks like a Tyra clone. Really NOT fair to the others who were in the competition. Hell, I can't even enter a televison or radio contest if I know anyone who works in the industry (that includes people on the lowest rungs of the ladder). If you search on YouTube "Rami Kashou on Tyra" this clip from her show features the designer Rami Kashou's fashions and Saleisha is about 3:45 in the clip (last model out). You can also search "middle driving" and find that Wendy's commercial with Saleisha in it. She's around in other things too. I don't begrudge Saleisha a career in modeling but what happened on Top Model doesn't seem fair to the others. If she had just gone to Tyra's camp, that might have been all right but to model on her show & to be in national programs isn't right.

This season was so obviously rigged. A contestant who not only knew Tyra through the T-Zone connection, but was featured on Tyra's talk show twice as a model, and walked the runway in a Gen-Art fashion show on ANTM's cycle 4.

Tootie Carpart's portfolio was mediocre and her personality fake. My only consolation is that the fashion industry considers ANTM a joke.

I hate to admit it but I agree with Adrianne Curry. I watch the show each season and it just seems to me, they pick people because they like them more. It is a popularity contest, nothing more. Rarely does the best girl win.

The winner this year has worked on the Tyra Banks show modeling, she worked the catwalk with the other competing models during a ANTM fashion show (I believe season 3) and she has worked in commercials. That is so unfair, and it's supposed to be against the rules.

Even though this chick is a working model, she was NOT the best looking, most photogenic or the best on film. The other girl should have won and she got robbed.

Adrianne Curry can be an annoying twit but she speaks the truth here. The girl who won– won because Tyra had an existing relationship w/her — there is absolutely no other explanation. How can she call ANTM a fraud and that's what got her ass semi-famous. We wouldn't know who the hell she was if it wasn't for that show. Adrianne is a reality show loser and she needs to get a real job and a life. And alot of those girls from that show are modeling and making money even the ones that didn't win. Adrianne wasn't a successful model and now she's mad at the one person who gave her fugly ass a chance. Adrianne needs to try to be happy with that old ass husband she has and not worry about Tyra and what ANTM is doing.

Love or hate Adrianne at least she doesn't shut her mouth about anything and I adore her for that, if she has something to say, she will say it and really doesn't care what others think of her
