Mischa Barton's DUI arrest could not have come at a worse time for her!
The sometimes actress was set to host a pre-New Year's Eve party in Vegas this Saturday - the opening of CatHouse at the Luxor. They'll probably find a new host and Mushy can say goodbye to her paycheck!
Also, the fact that Fartone was not only arrested for drunk driving but also for having (still unnamed) illegal narcotics in her possession does not bode well for her relationship with Keds. Mushy is the face of the shoe company.

My guess is that the partners at the CatHouse shared high fives after they heard about Mischa's arrest. Free publicity. And suddenly a higher profile star, for an already contracted price. They're just hoping she doesn't end up a) in Central Lockup on NYE, or b) stricken with a sense of remorse that leads her to cancel her commitment.
Yeah, she can probably kiss the Keds contract goodbye, but this seemingly adverse publicity may open up other revenue streams for Mischa a la Kate Moss or, to use an example nearer to Perez' heart, Paris Hilton.
