Pakistani activist Benazir Bhutto, leader of the country's Opposition party, was assassinated on Thursday in a horrific and unnecessary act of violence.
At least 15 of Bhutto’s followers were also killed when a suicide bomber attacked at a political rally.
So sad.

That is so sad, she was one of my heroes and she will be remembered greatly. I love her work and everyone should follow her example. She knew the risks but was not afraid.
She was a beautiful human-being long live Bhutto (her memory will always follow me.)
Terrible.
oh damn!
this is tragic
THIS IS SOOOOO SAD… SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST NEVER GONNA LEARN!!!!
she had more balls than the average man. i'd have to say she won. we'll probably never know the name of the suicide attacker but she'll be in the history books for ages.
she was a fighter for democracy and was a trailblazer in a part of the world where women are often left out - she will long be remembered for sticking up for her beliefs.
this is tragic.
Re: Aria –
thanks for reporting on this - much more important the the celebrity bs you usually write about
Very sad…tragic family. her father was assasinated as well
she is a hero.
it is so sad that such a brave woman was assassinated.
she was such a strong woman and has young children.
a woman prime minister in the middle east.
just so upsetting.
Condolences to her family, friends and admirers.
Another bright light for humanity has been extinguished. Can't we have her back in trade for the entire spears family?
R.I.P
I knew you would post on this.
I don't really know who she is
so sad!! =(=( 2
bad things really do happen to good people.
That country is FUCKED
about 4 hours late…piggy…..this is nothing compared to what the terrorists plan for America….KEEP FIGHTING OVER THERE, with our trained soldiers,…..If this makes you sad….multiply that by 1,000,000! For you to want our troops to leave the middle east in the midst of the terror, well, that is more than hypocritical….This could have easily occured in our country, were it not for the decisive and immediate action of our administration! Thank God the democrats did not steal their way into the White House…Al Gore would have actually tried to arrange a peace talk with Osama, like Billary. These people that have made it their life goal to destroy America and Israel!!
RIP Indeed. Very influential woman.
that is so horrible…so sad.
This is so sad! Hopefully her death was not in vain and Pakistan will be free one day! Peace!
sad but she knew ppl were going to kill her when she went back to pakistan a couple of months ago. she said it herself on the news
How very sad.. I pray for that country.. how sad for her children

ITS A CELEBRITY BLOG
not political!! I care about politics as much as the next guy but that's why we have categories and labels. Just as I don't like to see celebrity bullshit on political websites.
I am so sad and angry by her murder. I don't understand why there is so much hatred. Hopefully someone with the same goals and views will replace her. What about her daughter?
sux
