Now this is just ridiculous!
Hayden Panettiere is at the Capri Film Festival as well.
The dubious film fest made headlines with their decision to give Lindsay Lohan an award for her body of work, and now they're honoring Hayden too!!!
For what? Bring It On 2? That shit went direct to DVD!
According to Variety, Panetierre (and Lohan) were two of the career recognition recipients.
Basically, they'll give an award to anyone they can pay to show up!
There is Hayden, picking up her trophy, Friday night in Capri.

If they hadn't given Lohan an award, no one would've even mentioned this film festival. Since they have, however, almost every entertainment blog has written about it and I'm sure celebrity magazines will cover it too. Easy publicity, but it's a shame they have to compromise the integrity of the whole thing just to get a few headlines. Sort of makes the thing redundant.

well….i do agree with you, and seeing as I don't think either of them can drink yet (!), their 'body of work' can't be that reward worth yet BUT Hayden was also in Remember the Titans - the little blonde coach's daughter…and she wasn't too shabby =D but yes….an award at…what is she, 12? =P a little premature
