Quote Of The Day

wenn1708545.jpg

"I've had a lot of offers from people to do my own maternity range but I don't think it is the right message to send to young Britain. I'm not the best example. I'm pregnant and a bit young, aren't I? My demographic is generally young girls, so I don't think a maternity line is suitable. It isn't the best impression to give them."

Re: Anna from Norway – No it doesn't. The highest rate of teenage pregnancy in Europe is someplace in Scotland, I remembered that. Not sure where though. Maybe Glasgow? But if you just mean the UK, then yes, the UK does technically, but not london on it's own as a city.

Such a great point of veiw, shes very refreshing- even though shes pregnant and really isnt that young. Its just smarter not to show off your bump to her young funs and make light of a serious situation- coz for some dumb reason young people today think its 'easy' to be a parent!

I bet she was really fucked off when the pregnancy test was positive. What a mistake! No chance of seeing the 2nd album for a long time yet, unless she can get a good nanny to take care of the infant as soon as he/or she is born and get on with what she's famous for! Getting pregnant by a guy 16 years older than her and only dating for a few months was NOT planned.

Damn good for my Lil. What a way to take notice of the position she's in is not the 'first comes love then comes marriage then comes Lily with a baby carriage.' I was pregnant - and unmarried - at 21 years old and I was so embarrassed, I went to Wal-Mart and bought a small wedding band so people wouldn't think I was some redneck trash (I live in Georgia - I am FIERCE but I life in Georgia). I ended up marring my husband 26 days before our perfect daughter was born. Now seven years later, I wish I could get the little buttcheek to clean her room! And I still wear that cheap ass wedding band on my right hand as a tribute to what I went through to bring her into the world. : ) Cheese cheese cheese

      Re: Sophie California

My husband is 13 years older than me, and while we had more time together than Lil did with her man, you're and idiot if you think that is something working against her. He's fantastic and always tells me my energy and laughter makes him younger. And have you ever made love with an older man? One who has learned allllll the tricks the little boys wish they knew? I don't think I need to go into detail about that one . . . . >; )

I watched a documentary last week about Lily's 2007 US tour and she was lively, ambitious and full of determination on camera. She also spoke about her songwriting and plans for the second album and touring the US again.
Of course, this all happened before she got her US visa cancelled because of the arrest for assaulting a paparazzi photographer, so she has to go through lawyers to get back to America, but there were plans to tour the world.
No way were there any thoughts on motherhood or marriage. It must have been a total shock.
Doesn't matter so much that Ed (Lily's baby father) is a lot older, it's the fact that she's unmarried and obviously the kid was conceived rather soon into their relationship - they've only been seeing other since around October!!!
Talk about rushing into things! It's not a good thing at all.
They'll probably split up and she's be another single mom, but with more money in the bank than most of the young single mothers in the UK (which is notorious for unmarried mothers under the age of 25).

Re: TO ALL THE PREGNANT 20 SOMETHING YEAR OLDS

Sigh… you must be a man- there is something about men in their 20s- they still feel like they're teenagers.

I am 28, I have a 7 year old and a 5 year old. I don't ever feel like I've settled, it's the life I want. My children were planned, and never regretted. I just never was a partier, I never drank or smoked, I haven't ever had random sex with strangers- my family and I travel America and Europe, I've seen so much of what I want to see of the world already and I'm only 28. I guess I just don't understand what you seem to think I'd be missing- I certainly don't look at 20 something celebrities like Lohan or Hilton and feel like they're getting something out of life that I don't! Except maybe a few diseases and the chance to be victimized by a violent crime more often…

      Re: Ana
      1) You're 28 and you have a 7 year old. Do the math. Which means that YOU were pregnant- planned or not - at about 21. And who PLANS baby at 21? We gals call that a hypocrite.

      2) Who gives a flying crap about all your wonderful tours to Europe and all the wonderful things you've seen and done. You think you're the only one who hasn't? I'll be sure to post you a card the next time I'm in Milan on a shopping trip.

      3) And because I had a baby at 21 must mean I was a drinker, smoker, and partier with multiple sex partners? I've never been in a club in my life - its never appealed. Not that its any of your business, but I've only had sex with two men, both of with I was in love with and one of which I married.

      4) Planned or not, no baby is EVER a mistake - my might not be planned, but for that reason the are a sweet 'surprise' and something that God sometimes uses to help people turn their life around.

      5) And who says this is going to ruin her career? She has said in the past that she would love to retire at 25 and live in the country on a farm. Did Madonna's kids stop her? How about Tori Amos? And all the actresses and actor that have multiple children. Doesn't Mel Gibson (sorry for the reference) have 8? And don't even mention the Jolie-Pitts . . .

I'm 28 also, and thank God I'm not a stuck up bitch like you.

That's the first sensible thing she's said with that very popular mouth of hers. I thought that in order to get pregnant you had to get the penis in the vagina. I didn't think that was her specialty.

      Re: Morgan

For one thing, how do you know she's drinking? Been hanging out with her lately? And, if she happened to have a glass of wine, or even two, the baby is going to be OK. They're resilient little buggers - and I'm also a nurse. And I in no way condone drinking and smoking during pregnancy. But its not always perfect. And - when a baby is not planned - its not out of the ordinary for an UNKNOWING mother to continue smoking. But, as she has stated before, she has a great reason to quit right away not. So get off her back.

      Re: MandyJean
UH NO WAY !!!!! i remeber learning sex ed and i remember that yes, when a mother finds out she could have been smoking before she found out. Yes i will give her that credit but not when she is this far along, she could be causing damage and her baby could have a mutation or two (not that there is nothing wrong with that) but it seems to me when u r this far along as lily as u should stop!!!!! she should also start showing her bump instead of hiding it!!! i would not want to be her kid and one day she pictures of their monny hiding them as if she is ashamed! and by the way, no i have not hung out with her, if u were smart enough to read perezs website u would read that she loves drinking! and by the way who gets pregnant at 21? its called safe sex for a reason!!!
