Little Jamie Lynn, pregnant at sixteen, is once again on the cover of OK! magazine, for the second week in a row.
This time, though, the focus of the article is on mom Lynne, dad Jamie and denying "rumors" about the family.
Though she's not quoted directly, the new article states…..
- She's not that far long! (Yeah, right!)
Jamie Lynn “just passed the three-month mark," the mag is reporting. MANY many outlets are reporting that Spears is much further along than three months.
- She’s still with Casey!
Despite recent tabloid reports questioning the paternity of Jamie Lynn’s baby and her relationship with boyfriend Casey Aldridge, a Spears insider tells OK!, “Casey and Jamie Lynn are still together — and of course he’s the father!”
- Lynne is saintlike!
“Jamie Lynn loves her mom dearly,” a source close to the Spears family tells OK!. “She thinks Lynne has been a sensational mom and anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Lynne never pushed Jamie Lynn into growing up too fast and never pushed her into working.” Adds another insider, “Jamie Lynn and her mom will be raising this baby together. Jamie Lynn wants Lynne’s help and Lynne wants to give as much help as her daughter will accept. They’re in this together.”

yes, it is unfortunate for Jamie-Lynn to be pregnant at such a tender age, but in a way I think that having the baby is a brave (although not the best) choice for her to make. She easily could have had a quick abortion and would not have had to reveal the truth to anyone. She could have continued on playing at the "good" sister, the sweet, young, innocent one. She would not have had to face all of this public criticism and scrutiny, some of which has been directed at her parents which must cause her much pain not to mention the embarrasment of having her sexual life made public. She would not have had to worry about disappointing her fans, her parents, her employer or losing her job and tarnishing her image which very likely could impact the future of her entire career. I think it would have been a very easy choice to have dealt with the "problem" quickly and quietly by herself, but instead she chose to go public and give life to a child. She is young and she made a mistake but I think she's trying to make something good from somthing bad. None of us are perfect. All of us have made mistakes, I think we should ease up on her a bit.
I love how they are trying so hard to make her look like she is a good kid that just made a mistake and that this family is "normal". People need to just come out and slap Lynne upside the head and tell her that she is a being a bad parent and to do something fast or something even worse is going to happen next time.
