Britney Thumbs Her Nose At The Court
Briney Spears spent a mere 14 minutes being deposed on Thursday.
Why???
The trainwreck was almost TWO hours late for the court-ordered deposition.
By the time Brit Brit did arrive, K-Fed's lawyers, Mark Vincent Kaplan, was only able to grill her for 14 minutes before the deposition was scheduled to end.
Kaplan described Spears as "cooperative" and said, "I would've preferred it had gone on longer. [But] there has been no change in anything. It will be continued to another date, which I will not say at this time."
Asked at a press conference outside his offices if he got information he was looking for, Kaplan replied sarcastically, "In 14 minutes?"
No excuse has been given for Spears' almost two hour lateness, but it probably had something to do with the fact that she thinks she's above the law and her kids don't matter that much to her.
Kaplan said he hasn't decided whether to pursue court sanctions against Spears for being late and her repeated disrespect of court order.
But we hope he does!
