Kimberly Locke celebrated a big birthday last night!
The American Idol alum rang in her 30th at The Plumm in NYC. And she has plenty of reason to celebrate.
First, she got to snuggle up to Running With Scissors cutie Joseph Cross.
Secondly, her fab new single, Band of Gold, has just gone to #1 on the Billboard club play charts.
And, finally, her career is going much better than Clay Aiken's!

Maverick, Clay spent an entire tour promoting Kim's album while not saying a word about his own (which annoyed his own fans) & he's always, always, always spoken about her with love, affection & respect. OTOH, Kimmie disses Clay right & left & threw a hissy fit when he couldn't find it in his schedule to tour with her, which would have been a comedown for him & would have given her exposure to thousands of new fans. The real story is that Kim is all about herself & Clay has always been all about supporting his AI pals, constantly encouraging his fans to buy their albums, go to their concerts & watch their TV appearances. When has she EVER done that for him???
