Britney's lawyers can breath a little easier!

Despite the madness of Thursday night, law enforcement have announced they will not be pressing any charges against Spears.

"We aren't charging her with anything at this time," says an LAPD spokesperson.

The court, on the other hand, may have severe sanctions against Unfitney for violating their custody orders!

When she dies, and people start asking why wasn't she help? I do hope the people in law enforcement and the court system in LA will realize that by giving her all these "breaks" that went a long way towards creating some of Britney's problems.

If Britney thinks she can get away with anything, that's because she DOES get away with anything! When someone is as wealthy as Britney her family really can't do much to force her to get help. The legal authorities are the only ones who have the power to pull her up short and make her realize that she can not keep on the way she is.

If this was you or me we would have been in jail a long time ago for contempt of court just on how the divorce has been handled. Plus, I would have lost custody of my son.

It's not a "lucky" break for Britney .. its the worst thing the legal system could do for her… letting her get away with it again. Let's hope the Judge isn't as foolish regarding custody of the boys.

That's not surprising. Even in cases where drugs are involved, when somebody goes this insane, they usually just turn it over to hospitals and psychiatric wards. But if she was on something, they will most definitely sign her up for some sort of rehab. If she wasn't, she will be set up with a psychiatrist so she can finally get the anti-crazy pills she so desperately needs. Prozac, Zoloft, Depakote.. none of these are strong enough. THe police are usually hesitant to press charges as mental illness is a federally protected disablity and she only violated a court order to return the kids to k-fed at a certain time. No reason to charge her she committed no crime the LAPD can enforce. SHe can and I suspect will recieve quite a severe slap from the childrens court. This is why she does the things she does. She has never been punished for the things she does. Some will say she has had her kids taken away from her. But she has missed how many depos and didn't get her right taken away, she didn't show up for her drug test, hit and run, nothing, nothing.
