Despite the madness of Thursday night, law enforcement have announced they will not be pressing any charges against Spears.

"We aren't charging her with anything at this time," says an LAPD spokesperson.

The court, on the other hand, may have severe sanctions against Unfitney for violating their custody orders!

Britney should just give the kids up. Give them to Mr. Fed and give him ohhh $100 000 a month to maintain the lifestyle she gave him. That really appears all he's after. A nobody trying to be somebody. Give him a house too. When that happens she can relax, the paparazzi will no longer have anything to talk about. Where were the mental institutions and crap with other celebs like Whitney and Bobby. Didn't they admit to abusing drugs. Nobody took their kid away. How many more celebs are allowed to keep their children and I can't imagine that there aren't worse drug addicted/alcoholic parents in Hollywood.

In order to be charged with a crime, you have to have commited one!! Having a mental breakdown is not a crime. In fact, it is unconstitutional to prosecute someone criminally for what they are (mentally ill, addict, etc.). There is NO evidence yet that she did anything that put the kids directly in danger. After all, a court monitor was there the whole time by court order. If Britney did anything close to endanging her child, the monitor would have reported this to the police and she would have been charged. If there was nothing wrong with the kids based on a medical review, then she cannot be charged with abuse.

I don't understand how our legal system works!! I mean honostly guys, if this was any one else, ANY ONE else, they would NEVER be given all these chances. If this was just a normal person that did not sell millions of records and had to commute via the subway and bus, they would be in jail right now with their kids perminently taken away, with absolutely no chance of EVER getting out of jail or seeing their kids again.
