Britney Spears held her kids hostage on Thursday night. Cops had to be called to her home after she refused to turn over custody of her children to Kevin Federline's bodyguard, as she was required to do.
Sean Preston and Jayden James are now in the safe and better hands of their father and Britney was rushed to the emergency room for psychiatric evaluation and because police observed her to be under the influence of some unknown substance.
Additionally, according to new reports:
"The stress and mental anguish of the ongoing custody battle and deposition has caused Spears to 'lose a tremendous amount of weight in the past several weeks.'"
We hope police searched Britney's home for any illegal substances!
I don't understand why everyone is so shocked she tested clean. Britney has proven herself to be extremely unbalanced many times in the past. If it were Lindsay Lohan, I'd be shocked - her problems are definitely attributable to substance abuse. Britney has had many sober and crazy moments, from shaving her head, attacking paparazzi with umbrellas, changing her clothes 16 times a day, etc. Get this chick some HELP! Damn!

Her facial expression (in the freeze frame) looks exactly like it did when she was beating a car with an umbrella. Poor thing. She's obviously been sick for a long time and nobody seems to be able to help her… if she was anybody else she'd have been forcibly committed long ago.
This has stopped being funny and has turned tragic. I'm really worried Britney is going to commit suicide this year.
Kevin needs to file a restraining order against Britney to keep her away from those kids before she kills them! Of course she has too much money that will keep that from happening. What's it going to take to keep her away from those kids? This is going to end up being another Benoit story! We will hear that she has killed those kids and herself sometime this year! I hope Kevin's lawyer can work some magic and have those children taken away from her permanently!

I agree with you totally! People are so quick to dump on Britney yet failing to realize Kevin is no better; HE sleeps around, gets drunk and takes drugs too! I doubt you ever read these Perez but if you do… I know that gossip is what sells and your income ect.., its obvious that you have a bad opinion of Britany as does most of the country, the fact is its obvious that this girl has mental issue's stemming from god knows what~~ she's sick its that simple. Im horrified that the media has profited from this girls mental illness and grief~~ but what is most pathetic to me is that this girl has needed an intervention for a long time and NOBODY has stepped in!! ok look.i dont know if any of yall have kids and what not.but i have a lil boy 8 months old.i would go nuts also if i had to give my kid back!if you dont have kids you have no idea how it feels…it feels horrible!
