Dane Cook has set a new endurance record for stand-up.
The comic went on stage at the Laugh Factor in West Hollywood on Tuesday and continued until nearly 7 a.m. Wednesday.
In total, Cook did his shtick for 7 hours.
Just last month, nutjob Dave Chapelle had set a new record, performing standup for 6 hours and 12 minutes.
Hmmm, when it comes to stand-up and watching it, we'd prefer quality over quantity!

I wonder how many people were still there at 7 a.m. when he was finished, because I bet that theater was empty as he stood there drooling and doing bad impersonations whilst looking at his watch. Dane Cook worked very hard to convince people he was funny, and through some magical technique he actually managed to convince some people he was bona fide talented. Well, he ain't. I'd rather sort a million books using the dewey decimal system than ever endure having to listen to this unimaginative schmuck try and be funny.

Yes, there are different strokes for different folks but this is more than a difference of taste, regardless of the taste their is a craft to comedy that people work on. It is obvious that Dane Cook knows little to nothing about the craft of comedy, which is why the MAJORITY of people on this site say he SUCKS! I've seen comics that I do not think are funny at least respect the CRAFT OF COMEDY!!!!
