Britney Spears' freakout on Thursday night could cost her custody of her kids!

The former pop star refused to hand over her children to Kevin Federline's bodyguard - as ordered by the court - and cops were called to handle the situation.

What does this all mean?

A source connected to the case reveals exclusively to PerezHilton.com that….

"Mark Vincent Kaplan [Kevin Federline's lawyer] will likely ask for an ex-parte hearing first thing Friday morning."

That means he's gonna ask the court for an emergency hearing, cuz Britney fucked up big time last night.
