Britney's parents have finally come to their senses!

Jamie and Lynne Spears were reported to be taping a Dr. Phil special today about their daughter Britney.

But now, the family has cancelled their appearance on the show, Life & Style is reporting.

Now if only they could track down Britney and save her!

      Who had the bright idea to go on that show in the first place? Dr Phil is sick for trying to weasel his way into this situation.       If Dr. Phil truly wanted to help, out of the goodness of his heart….why would he be so greedy to try and get TV ratings?       I think they sat down and watched one of his shows where he tells the parents that they are part of the problem and they realized that was more than likely what they would be hearing so they baked out to avoid public blame. I think Dr. Phil is a good guy, and I think he wants to help. I think he parents (more her mom than anyone) are cash whores and would pretty much do anything at this point to secure their financial future. They know Brit's lost her shit, and JL will be working at Wal Mart in a year or two, so Lynn is scrambling to build up her nest egg…at all costs. She should have had her ass by her daughter's side and flat out refused to leave until chick got her head right-but I'm sure that would interfere with her lunching with the gals or redecorating the den.

I am a clinical psychologist and think that he is disgusting for WANTING to perpetually exploit those who are in pain and are truly suffering on national television! I am a mother and if any of my kids were going thru this I would be there by there side trying to help them no matter what! I would also be trying to guide my kids and be a mother to them if they were preg young and not throwing them into a media frenzy that could possibly harm them.
