Britney's parents have finally come to their senses!
Jamie and Lynne Spears were reported to be taping a Dr. Phil special today about their daughter Britney.
But now, the family has cancelled their appearance on the show, Life & Style is reporting.
Now if only they could track down Britney and save her!

Who had the bright idea to go on that show in the first place? Dr Phil is sick for trying to weasel his way into this situation. Stick with the people who want to share their dirty laundry on your show losers like Adrianne Curry. Her marriage is so messed up but they want to bring a baby into it? Focus on that Dr Phil

I think Dr. Phil breaking out the can of WHOOP-ASS on the Spears family could have been both helpful AND entertaining. He might have been the one to get through to these people.

Good, I think if Britney wanted to be on the show - that's a different story, but she clearly does not and if her family were to go ahead with it. Then they would pay the price by her alienating them further than she already has.

If Dr. Phil truly wanted to help, out of the goodness of his heart….why would he be so greedy to try and get TV ratings? To really help her, she needs a great deal of one-on-counseling…and the media should not be involved. And she needs to understand that she needs - and want - the help in the first place.
