This album isn't a departure. It brings elements of Goldfrapp's earlier work with recent. It's quite beautiful.

If you became a fan during the past couple albums, I can see the resistance, but give it a chance. The album will grow on you.

I really like the song. It still has the essence of Goldfrapp. While I enjoy all of their releases - I even bought Supernature as an import for $25 so I wouldn't have to wait 7 months for it to be released in the US - I miss the stylings of Felt Mountain. They went from film noir to T Rex on disco. It still sounds better than most of the crap on the radio!

Oh Perez Shutup. Compared with some of the crap you put on here for us to listen to, you'd think you'd be singing Goldfrapp's praised.. guess they're no match for "Uffie" or "Lil Mama" :/
It's different for them, more big and "pop" but it's not bad. Maybe they're looking for more mainstream play, who knows. It's ok for a group to try new things and if this doesn't work obviously they won't stick with it.

I have Seventh Tree already. It is an excellent CD. Very much like felt mountain. But this is more of a mix of felt mountain with a bit of supernature mixed in. Perez likes old Goldfrapp cause he's a FPS.
