oh people. the world isn't going to end. goldfrapp will come out with another dance album. the new album is fantastic, really beautiful. they just wanted a break from the wall of sound they've been doing for the past two albums.
Wow, that was quite beautiful, actually. It's nice to see them ditch the sleaze and go back to their roots, even tough a heavier bass line would've been nice, as well. Goldfrapp are class and they've proven it once again!

The video & song are lovely, and more upbeat than expected. I heard this was going to be a return to the "Felt Mountain" sound, and although this single is more mellow than hits from "Supernature" or "Black Cherry", it's still joyous and fun. I'm sure there will be remixes for the club kids. Heck, I'm probably take a stab at my own version. Bravo, Goldfrapp!

Definitely a step backwards for Goldfrapp, so bland - just more commercial rubbish. Will be interesting to see how it does on the charts.

Been listening to the album for a month now, maybe the best album of Goldfrapp yet. The perfect match between the first and third album. They're getting better and better. Can't wait for the tour

actually- this is more like the old goldfrapp. like the first, wonderful album, felt mountain. i hope there is a 'utopia' on this one!!
perhaps you should familiarize yourself with "old" goldfrapp. Seventh Tree moreso resembles "old" goldfrapp than their last album. as a longtime fan, i can say that this album blows Supernature out of the water. it's very similar to the stylings of Air. Supernature was far too commercial and did not showcase the true talents of this group.

I have the album. It's excellent. Very mellow except for 2 cuts, A&E is by far the most pop thing on it. Lots of psychedelic folk, warm and sensual. For everyone saying that the single is "fun", um then don't listen to the lyrics since it's about a suicide attempt.
