The Golden Globes Cancelled!!!

Despite last minute efforts from many parties, the Golden Globes will not proceed as planned this Sunday. A non-broadcast ceremony will not be held as well.

There will be no Golden Globes this year, in any shape or form.

Bummer!

Hopefully the strike can be settled in time for the Oscars!

      Awesome! Once again organized labor shows the powers what's what. I'd hate for the strike to last so long that the Oscars would get messed up (for the writers' sake), but if the Oscars do get cancelled, maybe people will realize what self-indulgent bullshit these award shows really are.

      Re: mimi – your are a tool! The Golden Globes are the best awards show of "the season" You can watch the stars get loaded, it covers tv and movies, and someone is inevitably always in the john when their name gets called! I am deeply sadened by this.
