  1. Dont even try to play the race card..... says – reply to this

    901

Wake up call for all the racist uneducated jerks who keep saying they are voting for Obama cause he's black….HE"S NOT BLACK just beacuse he has dark skin doesn't mean hes an african american…..his mother in fact, is a white woman from the central US……… So as you can see…he's multi-racial, not JUST black…so you can't play the race card with him.

What happened to RON PAUL btw?

Obama has done NOTHING for Illinois. What the hell will he do for our nation if he can't do a thing for his state? The man is a great speaker and has charisma. Thats it. Hmmmmm….reminds me of a certain "Bush" that was elected 7 years ago.
    Hillary has my vote.

America will not allow a woman in office anytime soon. Even more obvious, an African American? Heck no.
    Democrats are fucked again.
HAHA! more tax cuts for me and The Homo that runs this board.
With any luck we can begin to dismantle the so called welfare program. Fuckin' joke. Here you go have some free food and money since you don't want to find a job.
Put up the wall!!!! Bye bye Mexicans, go back and drink your dirty water. I will however come visit some of your beautiful beaches and drink some bottled water.
    Goooooooo McCain

    905

Perez, Iowa had caucuses, not elections. New Hampshire is the first primary election. Because you are fame-whore celeb-chasing moron who knows nothing about politics, you wrote off Clinton after Iowa. Neither Iowa nor New Hampshire predict anything. This is a period where we listen to and learn about the candidates. This is not a time to declare actual winners & losers. The election is nearly a year away, with only one primary down. Many other candidates are still contenders. Perez, please stick to what you know and stop including your uninformed take on political headlines.

    GO McCain

  12. Edwards! says – reply to this

    912

First of all I live in NH and I voted for Edwards last night! Edwards wants universal health care (thank God!) and he actually wants to work to end poverty! Obama won't say the Pledge of Allegiance - I'm sorry you want to be president but you won't even say the pledge because your mother was part musslum?! And you people want HIM to be president?!?!?! A musslem??????? What is wrong with you guys?! And also Hillary wants to invade Iran. Haven't we had enough of this??? Please vote for Edwards!

  13. Caroline says – reply to this

    913

I'm glad that McCain won for the Republicans and I'm kinda glad Hillary won even though I would never vote for her. I felt a little bad for her with how the press was saying her campaign was in big trouble and how Obama might win by double digits - boy, were they wrong! I can't ever imagine a Obama/Clinton ticket because I don't think they like eachother at all and I don't think Hillary respects Obama. I imagine that she feels like her life's works have been building up to this moment and that it's her time to be president. It has to be a kick in the teeth to her to see this very young new senator with not much experience doing so well as Obama! I don't think she feels he has earned it. But I do find him terrific to watch and very inspirational… I just don't know if he's an empty vessel.

  14. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!! says – reply to this

    914

You people want change and yet none of you have researched the candidates policies. All you people see is white/black/woman/man. Pathetic. You're doing exactly what the current heads of state want. If you REALLY wanted change, you would look at Ron Paul. He's the candidate that the networks don't want on air because of his strong message for CHANGE. And unlike the others, he actually explains how he'll do it. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!
And Perez….shame on you for not putting something on your site about Dr. Paul. He seems to be the only one saying that he wouldn't ridicule sexual preferences. The others are just hush-hush. You want to help change? Do what the networks are afraid to do and put Ron Paul's info out there…chicken.

  15. FOUR GIRLS says – reply to this

    915

I told you the other day we moms are not going to let the media choose our President- we will do it. I loved watching Chris Matthews, Joe Scarbourough and rest try to make excuses for their bashing of Hiallary and writing her off. Spin does not always win. HILLARY For PRESIDENT !!!!

    918

Glad that Hllary won and people aren't believing the rhetoric that Barack HUSSEIN Osama, er Obama is spreading that she is just a worthless former first lady. Of course, HUSSEIN OBAMA was probably never educated about Eleanor Roosevelt while being raised by a MUSLIM stepfather attending a MUSLIM school in Indonesia. Oh, and never mind Hillary has served TWO TERMS as a NEW YORK senator while he served less than one term in Illinois because his 2 Dem opponents dropped out.

  19. Elect the one w/20 yrs experience says – reply to this

    919

You want experienced? Did you see that Ron Paul was in the Senate for over 20 years?????? Do you even know who he is?
I'm a woman and I'd NEVER vote for the hypocrite Hillary. She voted FOR the war and FOR everything that the Repulicans (neo-cons) wanted. You people are fools for voting for ANYONE that has less/no experience and the ones that change what they say depending on where they are. Fools!

Its ALL the same, Fox, MSNBC, CNN….owned by the same circle of people. And yes, Clinton, Guilliani, Obama and McCain are in those circles.

Do you actually think you're going against the media by voting Clinton? Geez….

  35. ObamaLove says – reply to this

    935

I am a woman and support women in leadership positions. However, just because Hilary happens to be a woman doesn't mean I'm going to stand behind her soley because of that fact. She is not the right PERSON for the job right now. She is divisive and is the OPPOSITE of what our country needs right now. OBAMA, and his message of hope, is EXACTLY what our country needs, though he happens to be a man.

I don't NEED anymore FACTS to know this is NOT the guy we should have running our country!

The sad thing is…..These are REAL FACTS and NO ONE even tries to deny them….they just shrug them off like they don't care and still shout *OBAMA*
That just depresses me that people are so caught up in the hype and name and race and gender that they look past all the things that really matter!

Hillary voted to pull out of Iraq, Obama didn't. Go to votesmart on internet, search the candidate name and check "vote history" and you'll see what a liar he is. Obama did NOT vote on 114 bills, including not voting to pull out of Iraq. Obama wasn't in office when they voted originally on the war, which was only to happen if UN inspections weren't complied with in that bill. Obama said in 2004 there was no difference between himself and George Bush on the war, but he took it off his website after he was elected. Google Big Fairy Tale and Liveleak

Please tell me what changes Hillary has done in Washington.. Please … While she was first lady she tried to get a health care package voted in. She failed !! While overseas with her husband on foreign policies, she would NOT have been allowed in the meetings as she was not an elected official. She was out having tea with the ladies and site seeing. Yes there were pictures of this fact. She has NO forign experience that she claims to have. Since when does being first lady give you real government experience?
If she is crying on the campaign trail, how is she going to handle being pressured by the leaders of other countries?
Our county will be in a very sad state of affairs if we have another Clinton in the White House. Just like when Bill was there.

SHE ALWAYS GETS BACK ON HER FEET, BRUSHES IT OFF AND LIVES TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY FOR THE PEOPLE. SHE HAS PROVED TIME AND TIME AGAIN THAT SHE IS STRONG, FOCUSED AND GOAL ORIENTED. THAT"S EXACTLY THE KIND OF PERSON WE NEED IN THE WHITE HOUSE. UNLIKE OBAMA WHO TALKS A GOOD GAME, SHE LIVES IT AND MEANS BUSINESS!

Of all the Republican candidates, I personally think McCain is the best, so I'm glad he won. He has the most realistic ideas on immigration (no fence, don't deport illegal immigrants whose children were born here and are therefore American citizens), he is the only Republican candidate who flat out said Americans don't torture people, and he has the military leadership necessary to make real decisions about getting us out of Iraq and preventing us from getting into Iran.

As for Clinton…I'm disappointed. Not only would a Presidential victory lead to 24 years of Bush/Clinton (possibly 28), but she has no military experience and she is not a real candidate for "change." I personally think Obama is the better candidate - he has one term in the Senate as experience, but he is still optimistic enough, and enough of an outsider, to present a fresh face to both the world and the American people.

Yeah, I'm a registered democrat, but I think I'll vote McCain if Hilary gets the nomination. I just don't trust her.

I think part of all the campaigns focusing on "change" isn't something Hilary can make as part of her slogan because you are right, she would make it 24 years of Bush/Clinton. Hilary wouldn't "change" things, she would just continue our country being run back and forth between families.

When Hill and Bill were in for eight years, they got thousands of people of of welfare and created jobs for them. They gave these people hope that they were important enough to hand them jobs on A GOLD PLATTER. I guess you were asleep those years. Either way, we had alot of money in the bank, gas prices, a dollar. Everything we bought was cheap. We could afford to take the whole family out to dinner. Try that now for the poor or middle class. This economy is affecting everyone. The Clinton's cleaned up the first Iraq war in the "80". They already know how to get the shit cleaned up and the country back on HER FEET. When Bill Clinton left office, our countries treasure was in the black. It's so far in the red, if Hilary and Bill don't fix it like they did the first time, no one will get a pension, a retirement anything, no 401 K's, no money for your children's children. Get the fuck real here.

I'm not going to tell you who or who not to like/support/vote for — just please consider the fact that the majority of voters on Romney's home turf (i.e. Mass & NH) don't support him.

If he can't garner the support of those who got him to where he is now — should you?

Like I said, not trying to twist arms, just trying to let people in other parts of the country get the facts that have not been exposed to them yet.

Did anyone hear the speeches afterward? Obama is so humble and all about "we" and "us" as a country and as republicans and democrats working toward the same thing: change. Clinton was all about "I" and "me". Selfish much?? She's only looking out for herself And, not to mention, who has ever seen a President cry? Not me! I for one am not ready for an emotional wreck to be in charge of our country!

  68. Kevin says – reply to this

    968

As much as I believe Barack is a nice and genuine man as well as fiercely intelligent, he is still not the best candidate to run this country. So far Barack’s whole campaign has been run on smoke and mirrors. He does not have a clear plan to run the country and is more about being just a smooth talker and throwing out self-help and confidence boosting jargon. It’s very telling watching both of their speech's last night and how it took Barack 4-5 minutes into his speech to even mention any specific issue, which was barely a mention at best anyway, opposed to Hillary who dove right in within the first minute. If we want a motivational speaker running the country we should just elect Tony Robbins, Dr. Phil or one of the crazy personal trainers from the Biggest Loser. Hillary has a plan to run the country from day one and it has been very clear in the debates that Barack does not. You can not just step into the role of President and expect to make actual change by just chanting “we want change”, reality will come into play eventually. So hopefully the media will wake up from trying to make the best feel good story and start focusing on the real issues and the candidate with actual answers.

While all you drones are saying "Go Hiliary" and "She's done so much", would any of you care to post what exactly she's done that makes her so great? PLUS, the Clintons have already been in the White House in the last decade, give someone else a chance. If people hadn't known she was a former first lady, they would be like Hiliary who? Its just like Giuliani capitalizing off 9/11. That's all that assface can mention. If 9/11 never happened people would be like, What the hell is a mayor doing running for president and why would we vote for him.
Further more, Obama is a damn muslim. He's admitted it, he's been sworn in on the Koran. Its not a big deal, I support Muslims in the America and equality for all. But having him come in while we're in a war with extremists of his own culture? Doesn't anyone find a problem with this?

If Huckabee wins, everyone who isn't an evangelical Christian is pretty much screwed. He is known to support a mix of religion and politics. If you know NOTHING about evangelicals, go watch that movie "Jesus Camp" to have the sh*t scared out of you. Perez you think thinks are unfair for gays now, wait until he's in power. These people think that its okay to pollute the earch and that global warming doesn't exists, because we're all being reclaimed by God soon. And in case anyone forgot, THE CONSTITUTION says there is suppose to be a separation of STATE AND RELIGION. I didn't make that up, go google it.
Romney, has anyone noticed what a stuck up pompous ass this man is? He's got a permanent smirk on his face. He reminds me of that Troy Maclure character from the Simpsons. Thank GOD he got owned on the ABC debate.
Senator McCain wouldn't be so bad if he hadn't said he wants to keep American troops in Iraq for 100 years. Why the hell are we there in the first place? I thought we went over to the Middle East to catch Bin Ladin in Afghanistan. How the hell did we end up in Iraq? And if we're not suppose to even be there, why the hell do we need to stay for 100 years?

I used to be Democrat and I am honestly not impressed with anyone running for office. I switched to republican for the simple fact of voting for RON PAUL. Not because everyone else is doing it and its cool to say you're a part of the REVOLUTION, but because this is the ONLY person who has credibility to back him up, he's not a flip flopper like the rest of these people. He wants to bring the power back to the people. We're all mindless drones right now, being slowly eased into a FASCIST state. Some of you might want to google FASCIST. You don't notice it because its being creeped up on a slowly, but we are losing our rights.

WAKE UP PEOPLE AND SMELL THE COFFEE, THIS COUNTRY IS GOING TO HELL IN A HAND BASKET UNLESS WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

I pray that Hilary Clinton doesnt win! None of you have any idea of what she actually believes in, you just want her to win because she's a woman! Her views are EXTREMELY and ridiculously liberal and left sided. If she won you can kiss our great democracy good bye! She would be an even worse president then George Bush! I would love it if a woman became president, just nor her!

    First off, yay for Hillary

Secondly, the number of democrats that actually voted in Iowa was a little over 1,000 in total, and Hillary lost by only 203 votes to Obama. Where as in New Hampshire there were close to 300,000 democrats that voted. This just shows how much of a joke our voting system can be. If you check out CNN.com you can get all the numbers

This election is a joke. The ABC TV network (which is owned by Disney, a big funder of some of the candidates, therefore biased) shut Kucinich away from the TV debate, thereby ripping the american people from a real debate. It's totally against the principles of democracy. We the people should be exposed to all the candidates not just the ones that a TV network endorces.
Don't vote for the candidates that the media and other corporations are manipulating us to vote for, these candidates only care about who finances their campaigns. Use your own judgement and vote for the candidates who truly represent the political opinions you believe in and who will not be bought. Read about ALL the candidates and their agenda, not just Obama, Hillary and the likes.
I'm voting for Kucinich. He's the best candidate by far and the only one I trust.
    Kucinich 2008!

As a female, I don't want the first female to be Hillary Clinton. A woman who accepts her cheating husband, fakes crying to gain votes, and complains about having to exercise. I mean come on, other presidential candidates don't need to do that to gain votes. And also, the first female president should not be elected because of her husband. She should be elected because of HER. Anyone BUT Hillary '08!

Re: Dee – I totally agree with you except that I'm voting for Kucinich. I'm a democrat but I'd rather see people vote for Ron Paul than Barack or Clinton! At least the Paul isn't a sell-out, he's a true patriot who puts the interests of the people before that of corporations.
    Kucinich 2008 though!

Hilary is the most qualified and has the most experienced, plus she is definately the smartest one out there. She also has a plan of what to do once she becomes our president. The other guys are still trying to figure out what to do and how to deal with her. She may have shown some emotion, but don't let that fool you, she is tough as nails and this win only gives her momentum.
