This past Friday's season three finale of Zoey 101 got huge ratings for kids' station Nickelodeon.

The Jamie Lynn Spears show pulled in 7.3 million viewers for the hour-long episode. That's more than double the program's season average. Big numbers for cable.

Seems like kids don't care that the show's 16 year old star is pregnant. Heck, she's probably a role model!

A lot of people who post really need to work on their grammar skills. For example, "There is nothing high fashion about this call me a snob but I the spears know nothing about fashion nor does many celebs" is an awful sentence. I don't want to put words into that person's mouth, but I think the post meant to read "I think the Spears…" and of course, the end of the sentence should say "the Spears know nothing about fashion nor do many celebs" not "does."

The sad fact that confirms even more soundly the extent of the degradation of our society and the morals, values and good sense of our youth is that she IS a role model for many young people today. I live in a small town, and recently there has been an epidemic of teen pregnancies. When I was in high school (which was only 6 years ago) I remember a girl got pregnant and it was very taboo, people whispered and talked, it was kept on the down low, she finished school at home. And now, you go to a high school football or basketball game the cheerleaders have their babies on the sidelines and in the stands you see 10 teenage mothers carting their kids around, showing them off. They have absolutely no regard for the consequences, on the children, on themselves, on their parents who end up raising them, and on society who is forced to support hundreds of children their parents weren't ready for. And then these stars go out and make the same mistakes, set the same examples, and it just makes it that much more OK for the teens to do it. And it is not OK. There needs to be a solution found for this problem. They are emotionally immature, and when they have babies, they never fully mature because the process stops. And so we have a bunch of immature kids who don't know what to do raising kids. It's tragic.

Kids watch the show- Its surprisingly good… I'm 18 and I watch it with the kids I nanny for (two 6 year olds and a 7 year old) we all enjoy it. The kids are a little upset that shes prego- they don't really understand.
