Techno robot voice Janet…that's what they do when the vocals go as a singer gets older. I grew up on Janet dance videos but what the hell is with the Rapunzel hair extention? It's very distracting…can't these artists just be artists and not so fake? Fake hair, fake eyelashes, fake backgrounds, fake camera angles to make you look thinner, fake vocals….The song will be fun to dance to but nothing new and definately NOT breaking records.

Ok, listen up.

1. The black jumpsuit people claim Janet stole from the "Ooops" video is false. Janet established the black-leather-hot jumpsuit in her "All For You" tour when she brings some guy up from the audience. The jumpsuit in "Feedback" is black,…If I'm not mistaken, she's only copying herself.

2. On Britney's HBO Las Vegas concert, she does a number (I forget the name) where she does choreography with metal canes. Janet Jackson did that first in 1998 for "The Velvet Rope Tour" for the opening number "The velvet rope."

3. Britney's now famous: "It's Britney Bitch" is FFAAARR too reminiscent of Janet's ever so famous "No my first name ain't baby, IT'S JANET, MS. JACKSON IF YOU'RE NASTY!" Britney just tried to make a coin phrase for herself ’cause didn't have one.

4. The heavy choreography dance videos that Britney, Ciara, Mya etc. do now are umm…..yes, you guessed it influenced by Janet Jackson. Janet was the first Female to revolutionize the music video with heavy dance numbers in it. Not even Madonna had attempted to that before her. The fact that Britney does it, and I might say, quite well, does not make her the original dance sequence performer.

5. On janet's recent track "Feedback" there is a massive response as to how it sounds like a song straight out of the "Blackout" album. Ahem,. …umm…if you listen to the ALL FOR YOU album in 2001, track 5 "Come on get up" has a very similar sound to Feedback. This sound has always been a part of Janet Jackson's repertoire. Don't believe me, check out the 1993 album JANET. track 11 "Throb" is a heavy dance/club number that could very well be a hit today. Do not EVEN try to argue "feedback" came out of britney's inspiration.

6. Britney's ever so pompous sexiness in videos and her moans and grunts in her songs are sexy, yes i'll give you that, but Janet did it FIRST in the JANET. album. Again, listen to "Throb" and learn. …or might I add "Anytime, Anyplace" track 25. The reason why that song was so big was because it was the FIRST time an artist expressed so much sex in the song and video. ..1994. Britney did NOT start that.

7. The ever so famous Rollingstone sexy covers done by Ms. Spears are not revolutionary. Janet Jackson's cover where her breasts are held by then b/f Renee Elizondo has been that magazine's best selling cover and most influential. Other artists tried to provoke an equally iconic cover with much success, but Janet did that First.

Janet is amazing. so talented, so timeless, so unusually grounded considering her career, personal life, siblings?? and all the rest of it. I remember janet back in the 80's ad 90's… she was such a STRONG performer. she doesn't dumb herself down like alot of other female celebrities *ahem* jessica, *ahem*, paris… and she doesn't act like retarded *ahem* jessica, paris, lindsay, britney, and the rest of them. Janet looks so great for her age too. She looks so strong! a real inspiration.

Love the song! I like the video as well. Would like to know the concept behind it. It grows on me the more I see it. I like britney, but to all her mega fans on her who want to compare the two, sorry Janet came up with something better than twirling around a stripper pole for 3 1/2 minutes.

But thats all I'll say negative. Love you Janet. Time to appreciate different styles and approaches to music. Otherwise it would all sound the same…but maybe that's what some people want.

Janet's brand new single "Feedback" is the only track I've heard so far. Produced by leading R&B hitmaker Rodney Jerkins, it is a safe, pop-leaning dance track that reintroduces her on familiar territory. But more importantly, it sets her up for the video, the medium she owns.
Janet wannabes Ciara, Britney and Rihanna wished they looked this good in their twenties, much less in their early 40s. Janet proves that she is still an exceptional dancer, bouncing around in space and in a computer generated pond of milk in one of her trademark cat suits.
It's got me hoping that I'll get a bit more of the old Janet this time around.
Seeing Beyonce on tour last year, dressed up like Janet in the "Rhythm Nation" video, and emulating the militaristic dances, reminded me of how groundbreaking Janet was when she made that video nearly 20 years ago.
Watching Ciara freestyle in the mirror in her "1, 2 Step" video reminded me that Janet's 1987 "Pleasure Principle" was that much better.
And every time I see Britney on stage wearing the cordless microphone headset that Janet popularized in her "Control" video, I want to run up on the stage and snatch it off of her head. She's not using it anyway…

IT'S ACTUALLY SO CREATIVE!! (wru dummies talking about?) The sperm at the end is amazing! I love the concept: dancing on planets, the whole space-theme with the faceless daft punk dancers and special sound effects. Janet looks hotter than ever.
