This poor girl is 16yrs old! So she made a mistake by having unprotected sex - that doesn't make her a slut; it makes her a naive 16yr old. As far as we know she hasn't been sleeping around she got pregnant by a steady boyfriend. There are plenty of people twice her age who have made the same mistake and they do not get treated half as harshly as Jamie-Lynn. I applaud her for standing up and accepting responsibilty for her actions. Being 16 and pregnant must be terrifying and completely overwhelming and to have to face millions of people judging you on top of that…? Well done Jamie-lynn for holding your head high; you have nothing to be ashamed of, you're a brave girl.
I hope she tries her hardest to be a good parent and to make the best of her difficult situation.
