Both of Britney's parents, Jamie & Lynne Spears, have been trying to get their daughter committed for months.
They are convinced that Brit Brit is bipolar, and possibly more, but she has refused treatment.
Jamie and Lynn believe Spears' "manager" Osama Lutfi was a prime reason she was refusing treatment.
In fact, they dislike Osama so much that Jamie threw Lutfi out of Cedars last week, when Britney was hospitalized and put under psychiatric evaluation for just a day and a half.
Blame Osama! We might have to get that on a t-shirt too!

Lets just all take a small tiny week of your life doing the following =
01) If you see a Britney post on a website, magazine or newspaper, just don't read it nor look at the image presented.
02) Lets not comment on blogs when there is a Britney post.
03) When you feel the urge to search for Britney's latest news, try to think of something else to do. It must be something worth it and enjoyable.
04) Just take a moment everyday to realize that our interest in Britney's life (even though it's very minor such as reading up news on a celebrity) is actually building up pain and suffering into other people's lives. It's really sad how people tend to think that one little thing that we do doesn't matter.
Please feel free to add in 05, 06 and so on.

the family got themselves into a bind. they wanted to still make money and get pr even while britney was a mess and made a deal with dr. phil for a show about a drug intervention, but when dr. phil finally saw her at the hospital, he was like, "i'm not a psychiatrist, she needs serious psychiatric help not just drug treatment." they were annoyed and still haven't done anything about her mental illness because they are so ignorant. so yes, dr. phil was an opportunist for agreeing to use her for an intervention show, but c'mon..even HE is now like.. BiPolar disorder is a very tricky illness to diagnose, let alone medicate. In addition, most everyone that does have it tends to have minor, or major, episodes of schizophrenia. I truly believe that if attention was focused more on those celebrities doing good, rather than those in the downward spiral, that perhaps one of her identities may see it (not saying this to be mean), realize what's going on, and go to seek the medical treatment that she truly needs.
I also agree that her father and brother are the only two that are not trying to capitalize on her celebrity. Very rarely are any snapshots/videos taken of either of them, but plenty are of the sister and mom. I believe that her dad and Brian will ultimately be the two to finally convince her into getting help - first and foremost for herself, and then for her boys.
There are many people that are bipolar, with children, that are able to successfully deal with everyday dealings - and with life. There are also many other people that have illnesses, mental or physical, that go through divorces and custody battles all the time. They need to look at the bigger picture and what they want the end result to be…NOT the here and now.
Most of all, she needs to look to God for guidance. When she was faithful to the Lord, she had what she wanted/needed. Once she booted Him, everything went downhill.

It also does not mean she automaticaly have schizophrenia, they are two compleatly diffrent disorders.
