    britney's "family" you mean lynn??? um..whatever..her pimp is pissed cuz she wants her money! it was her dad jamie and brother bryan that have been consulting dr. phil about an intervention. they called dr. phil to the hospital because they assumed she hit rock bottom. when they all got there they just realized she has a severe mental illness. all asked for a hospital psychiatrist to treat her, but instead they released her. of course they were going to do a show about the intervention!! would brit brit have had it any other way? don't you people remember "chaotic"??? anyway, her REAL family that doesn't pimp her out did call on dr. phil.

    by the way, the only time her REAL family..aka her dad and brother could even have access to her was when lynn finally realized britney wasn't going to be her cash cow anymore. i don't agree with dr. phil all the time by any means, but in this case, the family that actually cares about britney wanted somebody on their side they felt could advocate for britney's health, since obviously britney wouldn't have gotten to this state if her mother have given a crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! her mom wants to be sure she gets control of brit's estate after she off's herself, that's the ONLY thing this Today show circus was about today. she wants to make sure even when brit is gone she's making a buck. frankly, i trust the dad and brother alot more and if they called on dr. phil, so be it.
