The pair are launching a new daytime show in Canada.

      I met these two in thier decorating store Downtown St. John's Newfoundland (where Steve is from) and they are super sweet nice guys. I don't think this was a ratings ploy, its always been obvious that they are gay and most people assumed they were a couple anyway. Good for them to come out and share thier story. I used to be so hot for Steven when he was on Cityline, and then when he worked out at my gym. But then he got gayer when paired with that queen, and now I think they're both pretty gross.       As someone who work in television in Toronto, this was not a huge surprise. They live in a loft building where tons of television professionals live and it was never this big secret.

      They've been on TV a long time and have never really discussed it. I don't think the secret was that they were gay, but that they were a couple. Now that they have their own talk show, it was time to be open about everything, because talk shows are about connecting with the hosts. It was a agreat move, and I'm sure it has been meticulously planned.

      Living in Toronto, even all of the surrounding towns/cities all they way to the Niagara Falls (where Steven is from) etc… it is a well know fact that they are a couple. They never hid it.
