No Official Cause Of Death

The reason Kanye West's mother died in November following a plastic surgery operation shall forever remain a mystery.

The Los Angeles coroner's office released their findings Thursday on the death of Dr. Donda West and they state: West died of "coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors due to or as a consequence of liposuction and mammoplasty."

However, the coroner did say that there was no sign of "surgical or anesthetic misadventure."

The coroner added that "The final matter of death could not be determined."

That shady doctor is gonna be off the hook!

      I've had plastic surgery…MAKE SURE YOUR DR. IS BOARD CERTIFIED. If your Dr. does not ask for medical or blood tests..DO IT YOURSELF. It's your life. Research the Dr….See if he's had lawsuits against him..SEE IF HE WON OR LOST. you can call the State Medical board..they'll tell you for free…there are many places you can pay a small fee online and get it. It's not hard. But it is YOUR responsibility.

      That whole situation broke my heart. I wonder if it was malpractice that the Dr didn't test her blood pressure and test her ability to withstand the anesthetic and operating procedure before he went ahead with surgery.

      If she had an underlying cardiovasular condition and didn't consider that he is liable. Even check what other medication she was on. ACE inhibitors? What pain medication she was administered post op? These can all interact.

      He's not totally off the hook yet - the family may still have a claim if they can prove that it was negligent of the doctor to perform surgery on her in the first place. People who smoke and are overweight are much more likely to suffer complications from surgery and from the anesthesia. There's no bright line there, but it is absolutely relevant that other physicians refused to treat her because of her existing health issues.
