Say hello to Terri Comer, an Oregon woman that was arrested a few weeks ago with a .72 blood alcohol level.
That's NINE times the state's legal limit!!!!!!
That reading wasn't an error either. The reading was accurate - they got it with a blood draw (no malfunctioning breathalyzer machine here).
Terri was also popped for a DUI in 2006. That's the mugshot above.
Last month, she was taken to the hospital after police found her beyond drunk and comatose in her car. She wasn't photographed at the time. But they did draw her blood, which came back at NINE times the legal limit.
They better get this mess off the road permanently.

If your keys are in the ignition, even if your car isn't on, it is considererd DWI/ DUI because it is considered an attempt to drive.

I work in a hospital lab and draw blood. You know how when you get blood drawn, then clean off your arm with an alcohol pad? Well if the Etoh (blood alcohol) level is drawn after the arm is wiped with rubbing alcohol….the result is an outrageous blood level result. This result would be inaccurate.
We routinely have to re-draw Etoh levels because some dummy does it wrong. The correct procedure is to wipe the arm with either plain water or an alcohol free soap pad.
I would bet that her lawyers use that as a defense.
Maybe that is what happened….or maybe she's just a drunk!

well, i have see a .70 on a guy once, and he was lethargic and borderline "wetbrain" and needed medical detoxification for a few weeks before we could admit him into the treatment center i worked at. It´s possible if she is a chronic drinker. They develop tolerance and can take a higher amount of alcohol (and hence also a higer blood alcohol level) than what normal people would survive. Therefore she´s still alive n kicking…But she needs major medical attention and detox for a good while before she´s in the clear…danger is she develops delirium in withdrawal if not treated correctly.

I think like 3 drinks gets you above legal which if .72 is 9x then the legal limit is like .08….at .107 you maybe had 5 drinks. Now I don't want you to go out and top this. I was an ER nurse for 4 years & NEVER saw one even close to that!! I saw men who were .4-.5's & were comatose & had to be intubated & trust me they were experienced drunks who I saw all the time! She has to have serious damage from that

does anyone even know what a .72 means…that means that 72% of her "blood" was actually alcohol. yes ladies and gentleman a blood alcohol level is just that so if you have a .08 which is the legal limit in most states only 8% of your blood is alcohol. this woman should not be alive, it is sick…SICK!!!!

.72 actually does not mean 72%…that would mean almost 3 quarters of her blood was alcohol! No one can survive on that. I believe it means 0.72%…now she has a chance at survival!
