Well, I hope that surgery was medically necessary. Recovery from major abdominal surgery (which is exactly what a C-section is) is a LOT more painful and involved than a normal childbirth. Having your belly cut open because you're "too posh to push" is just the height of ignorance. So I hope Xtina has some good medical reason for being cut open, because she's going to be in hurting status when it's done!

Why do celebrities have to get c- sections? I've read that this has many drawbacks and is dangerous and should not be done unless there are some serious complications. That's what any doctor will tell you! Maybe Hollywood doctors favour this because it means shorter hospital stays, hence more patient turnover hence more revenue? Or maybe celebrities are just so vain that they don't listen to doctors' orders?

you know, if she is to small to have natural child birth, that is one thing, but is she subscribes to the 'to posh to push' idea, she will have a rude awakening! She has no idea what a Cesarean entails. im due for my 6th on the 31st of this month and im scared, yep scared after having 5 already. I am also a nurse. If her baby is breach it can be turned usually, to small? doubt it, she just does not want to go through labor, she is looking for a convenient delivery, good luck to her, it will be far more painful and far more recovery. I am sure she is also not going to breast feed her child because i am sure she is not mature enough to make the best decision as far as that goes either. Far too many celebs simply schedule csections and it should not be aloud, for the most part the average person is not given that choice usually, she why are they given that choice? It is major surgery, the risk of complications to both the mother and child are high, mortality rates are higher, such stupidity~

I mean like the movie "Knocked Up" I don't want sex to be like throwing a hotdog through a hallway!! Plus it's convienent, planned for sure as to what day you deliver, and you lose more weight in the hospital, versus having a vaginal birth.
