I think that's the point of this photoshoot/ad campaign. Victoria realizes that her public image is pretty much a commodity to be bought and sold.
I'm 99% sure the Posh persona is an act - watch "Little Ant and Dec - Victoria Beckham" on YouTube, or one of the other behind the scenes interviews of her from a few years ago. She seems like a normal person, not the stone-faced manakin we're used to seeing.

I get that POSH in general probably isn't as shallow as the persona of POSH. My rant is more about the objectification of ALL women- and now men too- through advertising and fashion. The too skinny people with plastic parts and all.

If Posh is a good person, which I give her the benifit of the doubt for- maybe fame whoring, but just seeking validation in this world- she should think about how the idolization of her image effects women and GIRLS everywhere who want to be validated also but have no chance of doing it the way she did.
