Many children (and grandchildren) of immigrants feel that way! She says it would be "insincere" to be called a Latin actress — I hear her saying that she FEELS more American than Latina. And maybe she is! She's admitting that she doesn't speak Spanish, did not grow up with any strong latino culture, and perhaps she's never even been to Latin America!
