The 40 year old actress, who has suffered miscarriages in the past, played a little tennis with hubby Keith Urban this past weekend in Sydney.

It is advisable for women to actually get out and exercise during pregnancy. See, that is normal. Halle Berry is also over 40 but I don't hear anyone saying she is too old. Not everything happens in life exactly when one wants them to. She actually waited until she found someone to love instead of just screwing around to get pregnant. I don't understand why people have such hate for her-she seems normal, nice, and happy. I'm sure her children with tom cruise constantly hear crap from Tom so it is normal that they aren't as nice to nicole as they should be. Kids get caught in the middle. When parents act like aholes and are constantly saying bad things about their ex, then the kids start thinking the crap is true. Harder yet, when you aren't near enough to them to undo the damage the other parent causes.

If you have had several miscarriages and finally managed to get pregnant at age 40 (FYI Hollywood moms, that is f*ing OLD to have a baby) wouldn't you lay in bed with TiVo or something else very mellow? Tennis alone does not cause miscarriages, however it certainly could if the patient is high risk like Nicole (40 and previous miscarriages). Her OB would certianly recommend she try something ess strenuous. Regarding the comparisons to Halle Berry. Halle is doing yoga, not playing tennis - please be serious, there is no comparison. There's also no comparison that Nicole is an abesnt, neglectful parent to the two children she already has. She has put Keith before her children since the day they met. She doesn't see her children at all, has very little contact with them and is 100% completely self-obsessed. WHY ARE YOU HAVING YET ANOTHER CHILD?!? This is no comparison to Halle who is havig her first child. If her first husband hadn't been a wife beating cheater and her second husband a cheater as well she may have had this maybe in wedlock. How do you know "she doesn't see her children at all"? People from her film set have reported that her kids visited her on the set quite a few times. I personally saw her with her kids in Australia on more than one occasion.

To answer Grandma Mom. More women have babies later now because they have more choices obviously. Also once you are successful on your own you get a lot of independence and freedom, all of which are stripped away once you have a baby. Also the man factor too. Men and our society put it so the women should be subservient. That is a hard nut to chew when you don't need their help financially.

So many of you fucking morons don't think you'll ever get "old". Here's a shocker - you will unless you die first. Exercising is advisable during most pregnancies & you are not deemed a "high risk" pregnancy based on age or even number of past miscarriages. You are deemed high risk for the same reason younger women are, things like diabetes, heart problems, clotting disorders, anatomical abnormalities. I know someone older than Nicole who has had multiple miscarriages & is still not considered high risk - at high risk of miscarriage due to chromosomal defects yes but not "high risk" as in bed rest &/or special medical attention required. If you are going to miscarry for chromosomal reasons, the most common reason, you can do nothing to stop it, nor should you even if you could. Nature is taking care of business.
After the miscarriages she has had, don't you think that she would want to SEMI take it easy. Don't make this kid hate you too. I love Nicole Kidman, but being preganant is a gift.
You people r soo dumb if u new anything about carrying a baby you would know that your baby lies in a sac thats full of water that is protected by sooo many layers of skin , the only way u could harm the baby is by wat u eat and drink (no smoking or alcohol or drugs or too much caffeine) or if u fall on ur stomach really hard ur baby is completely safe otherwise as long as u keep ur heartrate low and drink lots of water sports and exercise are excellent.
Exercising during your pregnancy is healthy - it doesn't cause miscarriage unless it is in excessive amounts, which usually suggest an anorexic or other disorder, which could facilitate a miscarriage.
