There was a HUGE scam here in Australia involving the use of Vin Diesel's name and image. A bunch of nightclubs were advertising the fact that Vin was coming to visit Australia and would be making appearances at their clubs (WHY??? This is something usually only losers like Big Brother contestants do… I know he's a has-been, but at least he's a once-was!)
Anyway it turned out it was all a fraud and people were paying $50 a ticket on pre-sale! No idea if people ended up getting refunds or not..
